**TNF on Prime - Seattle at Arizona**(+1.5, 43.5) 8:15 (1 Viewer)

Is Darnold actually good or is AZ this bad?

Impressive work coming to a new team, it only goes up from here
Cards beat the Saints and the Panthers, two teams that will likely be picking in the top 10 this year. Saints are the frontrunners for the #1 overall for sure. They probably aren't as bad as this as the Seahawks D is legit, but they aren't a good team

Murray has looked extra meh since he lost wheels after the Knee injury … he used to have electric burst
Agreed - he really hasn’t been the same since his big injury. He was never a dynamic passer but his legs helped him make things happen. He either chooses to not run so much anymore or just can’t effectively.

Cards uniforms mirrors "the harshness of the desert heat, the shards of sand in a storm, the tan, red and copper that echo both the Desert Cardinal and the commerce that helped build the state."

:bored:

I roster Walker in one league. I had four starting backs coming into the year. Hubbard, Walker, Tracy, and Jeanty. Justin Herbert and Josh Allen are my QBs. Terry McLaurin, Malik Nabers, and Rashee Rice are my three starting wideouts.

I'm 3-0 and things look good. Second or third in points and usually my points increase relatively to other dudes because I just—well, I tend to follow it more.

Tracy totally got replaced by Skattebo. You can say he got hurt, but that does not do what happened and what was in the process of happening justice.

I'm watching Walker and Charbonnet. Second time this year. Now, Matt Waldman of FBG, whatever you might think of him, made an interesting point that each back's success against a team might have to do with what type of defensive front they're facing.

Well, with that in mind I must have watched the Charbonnet success fronts both times because he looks worlds better than Walker.

He looks quick but indecisive. Like he lost his natural feel for the run.

Oh Walker. Hit you on the hands.

Referee thought about throwing some type of personal foul on JSN after the holding call...he didn't seem to much egregious but he threw his fist around walking close to the ref
Interesting reaction both by the Ref and JSN

Walker has run backwards way too many times tonight. I’m sorry Walker truthers, but that non-TD run by Charbs was the best run I’ve seen tonight. One of the best I’ve seen all year.

RB Coach or some coach was laying into Walker for doing the spin dance, the Center was at the 2nd level, had he cut to the right vs left he might had a TD
Instead he was trying to dodge Baker and ends up spinning into another defender
Coach not happy

And then Walker has a really nice run and of course Charbonnet is in for the goal line.

Oh man. The dreaded split work and one guy is only between the 20s, huh?

Oof for Walker holders.

I don't go in those threads because why bother. They are both good backs who actually aren't that wildly diffferent.

But hot damn, Walker in when they're a inside the twenty, brings it inside the ten and Charbonnet comes trotting onto the field. Then Walker pulls a walker and spin moves into a loss.

This is funny. This game seems to be totally in Seattle's control. The only thing of real compelling interest is which RB Seattle decides to use and run.

LOL. It's like the Cardinals are nonentities who can only react to what the dominant side is doing.

Every time Seattle gets close they bring in Charbonnet they commit a penalty to get Walker back in.

Walker should forget that spin move.

Walker is more explosive ... but one RB has averaged 3.8 and 4.1 in 2024 and 2023, while the other has averaged 4.2 and 4.3.
I have the gift of sight and a little experience watching football, I think there is one way above the other.
That last run for -2 yards is what the coaches don't want. They want downhill and decisive running. Charbs would've probably gotten +2 or 3 yards.
