are you seriously gonna put the two calls in the exact same bucket? Lockett was stationary and in position long before the contact.

My argument on the deep ball PIs is usually pertaining to catchability. All too often the WR is falling away from the ball or struggling to reverse direction before contact and wouldn't catch the ball even with no defender there at all.
That play on Lockett was a bit different...ball was gonna hit Lockett in the chest...he didnt need to come back any more or try to catch it by his knees while falling backwards. Also, Lockett had well established his position and momentum before getting plowed over....it wasn't a sudden stop/reverse with a DB in a trailing position

The Seattle defense is pretty good but it being at home hurts them more than being at home helps the Cowboys. Cowboys could be looking too far ahead with a mini-bye and then the Eagles.

This is a game the Cowboys love to lose but I think Mastodon Mike has em playing well.

Again, to be clear, I have a very specific complaint about how the NFL calls those deep PIs. The play we're arguing about? While I don't like the call, at no point did I or will I argue that it wasn't a reasonable call relative to how they typically call them. I thought it was on the weak side even then, but hardly egregious
