**TNF on Prime Video - Steelers at Browns** (+3,5, 37) 8:15 (1 Viewer)

New found respect for Jameis, very impressed with the post game show. Everyone but Tony diving into the snow.....
The more you watch him, the more impossible it is to hate him.

I guess the Steelers are not the best team in the NFL
George Pickens doesn't think they should have lost. He blamed the weather and the refs so...
... George Pickens made his feelings known about the Browns once the game was over.
“Conditions played a huge, huge part in today’s game,” Pickens said. “I don’t really think the Cleveland Browns are a good team at all. I think the conditions saved them today.”
“The snow, the conditions were so bad,” Pickens said. “I don’t even think (Wilson) could see sometimes. And when you got conditions like that, at the opponents’ home field, it kind of plays in their favor.
“That’s what I’m saying...the conditions and away-game refs,” Pickens said.

Always cracks me when someone, whether it’s players, coaches, media or fans, blames it on the weather conditions for the outcome of the game, as if the opposing team doesn’t have to play the game under those same conditions.

Comments like that seem childish, but not surprising coming from him.

I think the officials miss it. At best it's more wussification of the game. Not sure how the player gets to decide/think that he's down.

The player is technically considered to have given himself up. I don’t know what Jeudy or the Steelers were thinking. He could have walked into the end zone. I’m glad he didn’t because I’m playing against him, but that’s what happened. He technically gave himself up after he kept just walking around and walking parallel and backwards to where he was supposedly (he wasn’t) touched down.

Apart from taking a knee or sliding, a player "giving himself up" was never a thing until Eli Manning dove forward and fumbled the ball that one time.
