Probably just the Patriots rushing him to get his physical orchestrated by his agent to get him attention. No worries.
I believe there were reports of him attempting suicide by OD'ing on pain pills while he was in Dallas years ago. I imagine they're talking about his mental health more than his physical well being.Rotoworld wrote that "the implications are grim". What implications? To me grim implies the worst but he's already out of the hospital so what is Roto talking about?
Well he supposedly attempted suicide a few years ago. He's an emotionally fragile narcissist who, for the first time since becoming "TO", isn't wanted by anyone and therefore has zero outlet for his personality needs.Rotoworld wrote that "the implications are grim". Probably because the police were involved, and they "followed up" with T.O. later at the hospital. That implies that they needed to ask him questions about what happened. He's overdosed on pills before (2006), though he insisted it was accidental. We'll just have to wait for more info though.Rotoworld wrote that "the implications are grim". I think last time he had something like $20 million reasons to not do this....All kidding aside this is now the second time this has happened to him. He sounds as if he really needs some serious help.http://www.tmz.com/2011/10/10/terrell-owens-pill-overdose-prescription-medication-hospital/'menobrown said:Rotoworld wrote that "the implications are grim". The 'suicide attempt' was also never confirmed and iirc thought to be an overreaction by the drama queens who are his publicists. Much like the chick who calls an ambulance for a guys who's drunk when she finds out he has taken a few percocet too.
You see, it would be this mat that you would put on the floor... and would have different CONCLUSIONS written on it that you could JUMP TO.Cry for help. This guy is suicidal IMO. Very sad, not in a team's care anymore, guy needs someone around him to step in and do the right thing. He needs massive psychiatry help right now.
Office Space. Well Played. But yes, TO does need help. Further proof that money only buys temporary happiness. You see, it would be this mat that you would put on the floor... and would have different CONCLUSIONS written on it that you could JUMP TO.Cry for help. Hopefully TO has someone who genuinely cares about him who gives the OD scenario a little more validity.'mad sweeney said:Well he supposedly attempted suicide a few years ago. Taking massive dosages of pain pills isn't necessarily suicidal. It's more likely indicative of a prescription pill problem. These drugs are very habit forming and you take a guy who has had multiple surgeries/played in the nfl it's not surprising that they'd have a high tolerance built up to them. I know many people who have taken ridiculous numbers (like in the 60's or 70's) of anti-anxiety or pain pills because of how ridiculous their tolerances are, and have watched addiction/intervention shows where people who are severely addicted will take 20-40 pills a day/at a time because they bodies don't are immune to the lower dosages. Not saying that he doesn't need addiction based help if this is true, just that it doesn't necessarily mean they are suicide attempts.Cry for help. This guy is suicidal IMO. Beacuse it's TO everyones first thought is suicide, but it "could" have something to with a complications from the surgery in Korea.Taking massive dosages of pain pills isn't necessarily suicidal. This must be why implications are grim...I must be callous or hardened to T.O.'s theatrics as I was more disappointed Bree Olsen has given up adult films forever when I idiotically clicked a TMZ link on T.O. to read about yet another supposed OD.
OK, all kidding aside, this is getting kind of sad. I really believe it's only a matter of time before ESPN has one of their dour, dramatic features about the "sad end to Terrell Owens' life; taken from us much too soon", etc. The guy needs massive help - - massive, and it's not in the form of another job catching passes and scoring TDs.
It's obvious football is and has been a massive band-aid for a seriously ill Terrell Owens as many have long assumed.
ETA: I loved the "Office Space" reference Joffer. God the Jump to Conclusions Board was hilarious. "Get it, you JUMP...to conclusions!" Awesomely done.
I totally agree. TO has always seemed to be unstable and very insecure. Dennis Rodman stated that he has comtemplated suicide before. They seem to have the same type od disorders.Cry for help. Speaking as a guy with no talent or money, I can assure that's depressing as hell too...WTF do they expect it to be when a guy is on top of the world for years. Rich as ####. Able to laugh in the face of opponents and critics with his game. Now he can't even get scouts to his try out. It's gotta be depressing as hell for a guy who already has issues, that were masked by talent and money.
