I believe there were reports of him attempting suicide by OD'ing on pain pills while he was in Dallas years ago. I imagine they're talking about his mental health more than his physical well being.

Well he supposedly attempted suicide a few years ago. He's an emotionally fragile narcissist who, for the first time since becoming "TO", isn't wanted by anyone and therefore has zero outlet for his personality needs.

Probably because the police were involved, and they "followed up" with T.O. later at the hospital.That implies that they needed to ask him questions about what happened.He's overdosed on pills before (2006), though he insisted it was accidental.We'll just have to wait for more info though.

I think last time he had something like $20 million reasons to not do this....All kidding aside this is now the second time this has happened to him. He sounds as if he really needs some serious help.

Cry for help. This guy is suicidal IMO. Very sad, not in a team's care anymore, guy needs someone around him to step in and do the right thing. He needs massive psychiatry help right now.

That's why "supposedly" was in my statement. Football was his outlet, he's not wanted by any team. I highly doubt a 2 minute interview or a having a few people watching him cry on his couch comes close to feeding 1% of his narcissism versus doing the T-O in the endzone.

Taking massive dosages of pain pills isn't necessarily suicidal. It's more likely indicative of a prescription pill problem. These drugs are very habit forming and you take a guy who has had multiple surgeries/played in the nfl it's not surprising that they'd have a high tolerance built up to them. I know many people who have taken ridiculous numbers (like in the 60's or 70's) of anti-anxiety or pain pills because of how ridiculous their tolerances are, and have watched addiction/intervention shows where people who are severely addicted will take 20-40 pills a day/at a time because they bodies don't are immune to the lower dosages. Not saying that he doesn't need addiction based help if this is true, just that it doesn't necessarily mean they are suicide attempts.

Beacuse it's TO everyones first thought is suicide, but it "could" have something to with a complications from the surgery in Korea.

I totally agree. TO has always seemed to be unstable and very insecure. Dennis Rodman stated that he has comtemplated suicide before. They seem to have the same type od disorders.

WTF do they expect it to be when a guy is on top of the world for years. Rich as ####. Able to laugh in the face of opponents and critics with his game.
Now he can't even get scouts to his try out.
It's gotta be depressing as hell for a guy who already has issues, that were masked by talent and money.
