Yes, if you can stay afloat until after his bye, you should be rewarded. The Cowboys could be playing like gangbusters at the end of the season and could lead you to the promise land. Of course I'm seeing things more than half full here but it's still a realistic possibility when Romo comes back, the Cowboy offense takes off again. What does everyone think of his value going forward? Good buy-low candidate for teams that can afford to hold him until Romo is back?
I guess I can see that but me personally, I'd go down with the ship with TO than I would trading for Eddie Royal in a redraft. It's not like Royal's done all that much since Marshall's been back to where you'd make this trade IMO.Depends how low. In a redraft I saw TO dealt for Eddie Royal. Frankly, that seems about right.
His value's definitely low right now, but so is his production. What's concerning is that Romo wasn't able to get him the ball consistently even before Romo was injured, so Romo's return doesn't necessarily guarantee much of anything. Since the Redskins put him in double coverage all game, his production has been this:Washington 7/71/1 (forced to catch underneath stuff all day, hence the small ypc average)Cincinnati 2/67/1 (salvaged by a long catch and run for TD late in the game)@ Arizona 4/36/0 (Romo wasn't injured until late in the game)For most receivers, 13/~170/2 over three games is nothing to panic about, but the Cowboys offense has clearly not been getting him the ball the way they (and he) want to, and it's because defenses have been able to force them away from that. Romo is already a ball security risk, so having him force the ball to TO when healthy spells trouble, especially when they do have other viable offensive options. Yeah, you may be able to buy low, but be wary as well."TO (Terrell Owens)"lol
kinda hard to search for TO...just paying it forward to those looking for insight later..."TO (Terrell Owens)"lol
The Boys should be fighting for their playoff lives and will need all hands on deck. They have the bye this week to heal up a bit. I would disagree.Take a look at how TO typically performs down the stretch before you consider trading for him. He rarely produces from weeks 14-16, and is often injured. In the few instances I've owned TO in the past, it's always been my policy to trade him in advance of the FF playoffs.
I traded DeSean Jackson for him last week... I'm a Curtis owner and that worked out for now. i would love to get TO in more leagues if I could... unless they lose 3 or 4 games in the next 6, they will be fighting for a spot in the post-season deep into the FF yr.And TO may get nicked up... but he never misses time, that to me is a huge plus. The thing, what to do w/ him during the off-season...Take a look at how TO typically performs down the stretch before you consider trading for him. It would be nice if more people did this.kinda hard to search for TO...just paying it forward to those looking for insight later..."TO (Terrell Owens)"lol
