With most playoffs starting this week and the Chargers a few games back of the Broncos do you think LT is already shut down mentally and with his injury not being able to cut. Do you still think he is a good play this week Thursday vs the Raiders at home or do you think the Chargers will reduce his work load further?

Good question. I've thought about that remote possibility he could see reduced carries but he's still the primary GL back no matter what right?

I'm guessing its the "last hurrah" for the entire Charger team... on prime time.I like all of their options this week.

Tomlinson addressed this issue in his post game interview. Apparently he made a locker room speech after the game (which is uncharacteristic) urging his fellow teammates to fight through the rest of the season and play for respect even if they're not gonna win games.

Thanks for this dude. Makes me feel better about using LT this week and the rest of the year. He's not going to quit no matter what.

Once you talk about retirement it's like you already did quit. Ever since LT got all sad and bummed in the playoffs he gets way to down on himself and doesn't love the game. I rarely see his passion this year like I used to see.

Well it's never fun to lose! I'd lose my passion too when expectations were so high for this year.

He'll be fine.

I'm playing him without hesitation. He seems to be healthy--and I would expect professional if not motivated; Oakland is ranked sixth worst against RBs with my league's scoring and LT did well against them at their house. I'm liking the matchup as well next week against Kansas, and if I make it that far I'll consider how my choices stack up when he plays at Tampa week 16.
