Tony Scheffler (1 Viewer)

I've been looking at info out there that has Scheffler listed as 3rd on Denver's TE depth chart. I drafted him as my #1 tight end. The guy was great last year in limited playing time, Marshall is out, and they're depending on Royal and rookies to carry them through this week. I'm confused.

Anyone have any fresh info/perspectives to offer up on Scheffler?

Everything I've heard has Nate Jackson playing the pass-catching TE for Denver, meaning Sheffler has no fantasy value at this point. Knowing Shanny, that can always change though...

I don't trust Bronco depth charts nor press releases until I see it on the field.

As my 2nd TE, I'll give Scheffler a couple of weeks to see what the targets look like. TE's score so infrequently anyway - no need to panic.

:excited:

When people say they are looking for a frest update, warrior, they probaly are looking for a FRESH update..........not a 2 day old thread. But i've searched pretty much everywhere and can't find any new info as of yet.

I have Scheffler and Keller as my 2 TE's at the moment but I can't afford anymore roster spots for TE's. McMichael is still on the wire ... any suggestions?

I think this is just more Shanahan mind games. Scheffler is easily the second-best pass-catcher on the roster behind Marshall. He's best friends with Cutler and a serious red zone threat. I'd say 60/750/6 for the year with upside.

In his first year with the Jets, Eric Mangini listed the depth chart in alphabetical order... so I'm not sure I'd pay much attention to this. Coaches play games with this stuff.

Nothing's happened in 2 days. Same depth chart, same info. 2 days is fairly fresh for the preseason! lol
Rather than start a new thread the best thing to do is to simply post in the "two day old" thread and ask if there are any updates. It helps to prevent too many threads on the same player/subject and also links "old" info to "new" info for a complete story.

:lmao: Especially the bolded part.

It's hard to manage the boards with multiple threads on the exact same topic. The one exception is if there is important news about a player (injury, benched, etc.). In that case, a new thread is warranted.

This thread has no new information. Thus, the posts should have been added to the other Scheffler thread instead of starting a new one.

Hey MT99808 -- I have to ask; why Keller? Do you have inside information?
Is there inside information to be had?Keller is a first round TE who is a a natural, tall and athletic TE who has looked very good in the preseason and had Brett Farve throwing to him.
