Wow - I'm as big a fan of Keller as anyone, but his targets are declining with Holmes back. I just don't see enough looks to be #1.I do like the Watson call though - he's no longer under the radar and may continue to see even more targets with Massequoi and Cribbs hurting.1. Dustin Keller
2. Antonio Gates (even with the injury)
3. Ben Watson
4. Brandon Pettigrew
5. Aaron Hernansez
6. Vernon Davis
7. Tony Gonzalez
8. Chris Cooley (I'm assuming he misses a game here, if not he's 3)
9. Marcedes Lewis
10. Tony Moeaki
Cooley...the Rodney Dangerfield of TE's![]()
ThisHe has a mild concussion, seems like 1 out of 4 players are coming up with one then right back on the field the following week.Cooley...the Rodney Dangerfield of TE's![]()
Cooley could easily finish the year in the top 4-5.

You really think Zach Miller is going to fall off the face of the Earth? He didn't have a QB last year, either, and was just fine from a PPR standpoint.1. Dustin Keller 2. DC radio said he practiced yesterday or is going to practice today...DC101. Heard it in the car, so hence why I didn't get the details, but they said "everyone" practiced, even Cooley...now whether or not those were contact drills or not...?ThisHe has a mild concussion, seems like 1 out of 4 players are coming up with one then right back on the field the following week.Cooley...the Rodney Dangerfield of TE's![]()

I'm counting on Gates being hampered by the injury. I don't own Keller, I do own Gates and I'm nervous. As for Keller's declining targets, I attribute some of that to matchups and what not. I think those come back up.keller over gates is bonkers son1. Dustin Keller 2. Antonio Gates (even with the injury)3. Ben Watson4. Brandon Pettigrew5. Aaron Hernansez6. Vernon Davis7. Tony Gonzalez8. Yeah, I maybe should have included him. He kind of slipped my mind. I would probably stick him in between the 5 and 6 spots probably. Missed him.You really think Zach Miller is going to fall off the face of the Earth? He didn't have a QB last year, either, and was just fine from a PPR standpoint.1. Dustin Keller 2. 2 Phi 7rec 108yds 0td 17pts
3 @Min 6 44 0 10
4 @GB 8 91 0 17

Miller -- big ben back is only reason he is here
Heap -- add him to injury list soon
Celek -- kolb likes vick doesnt
Winslow -- needs more consistency
MLewis -- doesnt see the targets but big time red zoner here
yeah Watson is like buildin a strong case to be top 3Watson has been sitting on my league's waiver wire all season before I snatched him up this past week. He's already in the top 10 stats wise and with the injuries to the receiving group he should continue to put up impressive numbers. Very underrated this year.

Cooley could easily finish the year in the top 4-5.
RotoworldChris Cooley (concussion) is expected to start this week after putting in a limited practice on Thursday.Coach Mike Shanahan said that Cooley looked good, felt good, and should be "full go" for this week's game against the Bears. It's not a bad idea to have Fred Davis reserved if the roster space is available, but it looks like the Skins are counting on Cooley playing his full complement of snaps barring a setback. Oct. 21 - 3:11 pm etSource: Ryan O'Halloran on TwitterAny news on Cooley for the week?
ummm, vernon??? dude has scored in 3 straight and coming off a 13 td season (tied w/ gates for most in one regular season by a te). sheeshtdhartis said:GatesWittenDanielsH. MillerGonzalesZ. MillerHernandezLewisCrapshoot
Couldn't disagree more.2006 NE patriots WRs:Reche CaldwellDoug GabrielJabar GaffnerNumerous even lesser WRsWith this [sarcasm] STELLAR [/sarcasm] WR core as Tom Brady's targets:Ben Watson:640ish Yds, 3 TDs to rank TE 10Tom Brady's not throwing to him.See how Cleveland coaches gameplan for him after he has 3 drops in one game.Which will happen any week now.yeah Watson is like buildin a strong case to be top 3Watson has been sitting on my league's waiver wire all season before I snatched him up this past week. Forgot to mention: 2006 was his best year. His average for 2005 - 7 was TE13That was before the Patriots "long ball era" (Thanks Randy!)during which he averaged TE26To expect TE 3 from him for more than a couple game string is unrealistic.Couldn't disagree more.2006 NE patriots WRs:Reche CaldwellDoug GabrielJabar GaffnerNumerous even lesser WRsWith this [sarcasm] STELLAR [/sarcasm] WR core as Tom Brady's targets:Ben Watson:640ish Yds, 3 TDs to rank TE 10Tom Brady's not throwing to him.See how Cleveland coaches gameplan for him after he has 3 drops in one game.Which will happen any week now.yeah Watson is like buildin a strong case to be top 3Watson has been sitting on my league's waiver wire all season before I snatched him up this past week. Witten's playing pretty well (on pace for 864 yards), and he has a huge advantage in that he's already past his bye (so he has one more game remaining than a lot of his peers).Witten? Seriously? What is this 2007?
Owen Daniels was the #1 TE in all of fantasy football when he got injured last year and was on pace for double-digit TDs.Too much hype on Daniels. The man is allergic to the end zone. Same goes for Winslow.
The good thing about concensus is that it usually is not wrong by a lot.The bad thing about consensus is that it's pretty much never right.I think consensus on Daniels here is about right, if you drop Watson down about 5 spots,Don't know Daniels well, but agree w the points made about his performance before injury last year. That offense is still pretty much the same, no? (assuming Johnson's health)Given returning from injury, not reasonable to expect TE1 performance out of him, but top 5 over the remainder of the season? Maybe.6-10 over the remainder? seems reasonable at this point.Where would you rank Daniels vs Watson going forward? Looks like consensus has Watson over Daniels.
FYP.If Daniels is totally healthy after the bye, and can stay that way he could easily be top 3...iirc he was the #1 te last year when he got hurt.
What's your point? With most players we not only need them to stay healthy, but even that doesn't make them a lock for high end production. I mean, I can have Carlson with nary a scratch all season, but big whoop. At least with Daniels we know he'll be good when he's feeling 100%.FYP.If Daniels is totally healthy after the bye, and can stay that way he could easily be top 3...iirc he was the #1 te last year when he got hurt.

Agreed. He's scored in 3 straight and has only had one bad game (week 3). The team is going to open the offense and he will do just fine (may not get 13 Tds, but I can see 9-10)Vernon way too low on these - I cant see him any lower than 3rd
Do you think you should bump Finley on the clark news?FYP.If Daniels is totally healthy after the bye, and can stay that way he could easily be top 3...iirc he was the #1 te last year when he got hurt.
