Tracy Morgan Netflix special (1 Viewer)

Had zero expectations with this.  Dude surprised me.  Very funny.

I understand how ridiculous this sounds, but I passed it over on Netflix, and the "poster" for it absolutely annoyed me to the point that I didn't even wanna watch it. 

Then my mind started going about the state of his mental health, and such. And how I've always pictured him suffering a similar fate to Chris Cornell ... And I didnt wanna watch and support his mental state being exposed by Netflix.

I mean... I was super high. I admit that much. But it all amde sense last night, and now I've honestly given up on watching it.

That and the Norm McDonald one kinda sucked, and he's my fave comedian... So I feel like these Netflix comedy specials are all a bust

I was super high, this new Sour Kush I got has me on the moon at times.... And believe me, I know it sounds ridiculous.

But I've always had this dislike for Tracy Morgan. There's something unsettling about him. 

As for the Chappelle special, it was ok, I'll admit that. But I find overall, the specials are weak at best.

I have liked some of the ones where I didn't know the comedian going in.  The old ones they bring back have a higher expectation level.  That hurts them a bit

Hey, bud. I'm glad to be thought of, frankly. If anything, on this board, we like to be remembered for at least being distinct. 

I see what Soulfly3 is saying about Tracy Morgan and Netflix. Here goes: 

Tracy was in an accident. It might have disrupted his mental health, which was always on the edge as a comedian. Netflix put out a special that might have exploited him for this very reason. And he may be suicidal at heart, as an aside.  

Simple, it's just that Soulfly3 wrote it in a little more flowery way than you're used to.  Free jazz, as it were.  

On a different note, I sit at the keyboard thinking of how I got mentioned and what you, I, and everybody means to this board and I hope we're all net positives in some way. That's all I can say. I happen to think we are.

Jo Koy was funny too. Also all of the Mike Birbiglia specials are great.

Saw him live - so terrible I walked out after his 5th joke about getting hit by a Wal Mart truck.  Luckily it was at the casino, so not a completely wasted trip.

I thought Norm's was real funny. Not as good as some of his past stuff (including his last special) but still a lot more "hits" than "misses" for me.

Jo Koy is hilarious.  Had the pleasure to see him live a couple of times...love that guy...
