It seems like a lot of people are expecting several names to be moved before the deadline. I know in years past that hardly ever was a trade made at the dealine. Has something else changed besides just moving the trade deadline back to lead to all the specualted moves?
This is the problem with people projecting these trades. You need trading partners willing to take on another salary not to mention giving up draft choices to consummate these deals. In some cases like with SJax or Bowe, a second or third rounder is being asked for and there are a lot of teams that will outright refuse to even consider giving up picks that high no matter how glaring the need during the season might seem to be.
Mos of the hype stems from baseball where there are several deals made. Generally the NFL does not make deadline deals - but I think that changed last year and there were a couple of players moved.
Also, I believe the trade deadline is later this year - which was done to "encourage" trades.
