Trades involving Thursday Game Players (1 Viewer)

There is a trade going on in my league that involves a DEN player:

Plax+Gates for Scheffler+AJ

Our trades go through a 48 hour voting period before they are processed. This trade was put in on 11/4 so the voting deadline is 11/6. Under normal circumstances this trade will be processed at 1:59 AM EST on 11/7 (IE after the DEN game).

So what will happen with this trade since Scheffler will have already played for the week? Will the trade just be postponed until next week? Our league locks players into waivers once they have played and then our waivers run late Tuesday night/Wed AM.

What does your Commish / Rules say ..??

I cant see the trade / owners having to be pushed back an entire week.

The trade should go through as normal and the owner acquiring Sheff should have the option to state before the Denver game , whether he wants him in his lineup for this week.

Trade will probably got through, but the new Scheff owner won't be able to start him, as he wasn't a member of his team on Thursday.

What does your league do for trades that are done on Friday night or Saturday?

Your commisioner can go in there and override the process. he can Ok the trade and put him on the roster

I'm the commish...I'm well aware of what I CAN do, I'm wondering HOW it should be handled. IE what other leagues do in this situation.

Also I thought the trade might be put on hold because Sheffler would have played his game the night before the trade was suppost to be processed?

I have a question in this too, so I figured I would post here.

A team and I agreed to trade Winslow/Favre for Witten/LJ. Our trade deadline is tonight and it won't process the trade due to Kellen's game.

#1 Can the trade be overrode (Winslow was on my bench)

#2 Is it fair that if the trade can't be overrode until the end of week 10 to swap Favre/LJ or Witten and complete the deal after the week.

#3 ...I can't think of anything else for now lol.

Unless you play in those weird Yahoo leagues..the answer is NO..Winslow on bench or not (his team played in week 10) can't be picked-up, dropped or traded in all other leagues but Yahoo from what I know.
