Trading Chris Johnson (1 Viewer)

I want to Trade Chris Johnson - I would like a RB or WR in return.

Who do you guys think are reasonable targets?

Would you do any of the following trades:

Alfred Morris and Calvin Johnson for Chris Johnson and Doug Martin

Lesean McCoy and AJ Green for Chris Johnson and Doug Martin

Jamal Charles and Reggie Bush for Chris Johnson and Doug Martin

Thanks in advance

Not a single one of those trades would be taken seriously...well maybe the last one and then only if both Charles and Bush are Questionable heading into this week.

Caveat - unless of course your scoring system is non-standard in which case they may be fair trade offers.

Ok thanks dollarbill, I have reposted the question in the Assistant Coach forum.

My logic in trading Doug Martin with CK is that I don't think I will get the value/players I would be interested in without adding Martin to the mix,

Thanks

I think you may be overvaluing both Johnson and Martin this week, personally. Martin and his 2.7 YPC against the Jets with his 1 TD and 2 fumbles are probably not going to be enticing people away from the likes of Calvin/AJ Gree/McCoy/Charles/Bush. I know it wouldn't me. You may want to wait a week or two to offer something like that up cause both of these guys have much lower value today than they did 3 days ago.

I'm a Chris Johnson owner who isn't upset with the Week 1 result. Granted, his yard total and YPC were both low, but Johnson received 25 carries. It certainly looks like the Titans are committed to running the ball, and there is little threat of Shonn Greene significantly cutting into Johnson's carries. If the Titans commit to giving Johnson 20+ carries per week, the numbers will come.

Thanks MDSkinner, I think your right, I should wait awhile when these guys have some higher value. Appreciate it.

There's no way in hell the Titans do this. If you're really their general manager, I think the owner is going to fire you for putting crap like this online. I'd suggest you ask Joe to delete this thread immediately before it costs you your job. These are some really terrible ideas. I can't believe anyone would hire you in the first place to run their team.

Jewell I appreciate the response. I am not to worried about yards and carries but I am about TD's. It appears that while the Titans are committed to the run, it looks like they will be using RB's other than CJ around the goal line (Jackie Battle). .
