I said this in the Travis Henry hype thread many weeks back....prepare to be disappointed with injuries with this guy....he has never stayed healthy and played a full season....yet people want to risk their entire fantasy year by picking him in the mid 1st round

Typical Henry.....this was so predictable

Not a true fumble, the exchange was not clean. At first glance it looked more like Cutler's fault than Henry's. Henry never had the ball.

Come on it's fun to watch the Henry owners squirm.

How do we know it's sprained again? It could be less, or it could be worse? He walked off under his own power is a good sign, but not fool-proof. I've seen players walk off (limp) with a torn ALC before. As a big Henry fan this year I'm concerned. I'll be watching this closely. If it's a sprain, he should be good to go for week 1 with some rest.

I was VERY surprised to see him still in at RB with under 4 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. I realize the offense was "sputtering" but Shanny should have gotten Henry out of there a little sooner.

I've drafted hin twice in the last week - early in the second round in one and late in the 1st in the other. Now I have to wait and hope like all other Travis owners............

Don't overreact, men,... be patient.
 We'll know more later, but a sprained knee doesn't sound too bad. I'd say it's more likely than not he's out there for week 1.
I head he was pissed and grimacing...???speculating on the fly while drinking 40's. certainly bumbs both bell and sapp uber huge anyway.

You get pissed and grimace when you get kicked in the balls, too. That doesn't mean you can't play football three weeks later.

We were saying the same thing about Edge a few years ago before his MRI ;)
Yes. And Polian was denouncing those "internet rumors"... Let's hope this isn't the same.J

yeah but football players are pretty tough. The pissed part usually means bad iMHO

I dont think it was predicatable , any more than any other RB, and Henry probably isnt injured enough to miss week 1 if its a strain as reporterd. And no, Im not a henry owner

Isn't Henry also at risk for drug suspension? He had one his first year in Tenn and the next strike is a full season. I'm amazed how high he's gone in the rankings.

I only saw the one camera angle Sig. It looked clean to me. I believe Moose even said so too.Moving on. Does Selvin Young have any more value because of this? Wondering if I should be picking up him or Hall in deeper dynastys.

1 strike away but then LT is one ACL away so in a re-draft it shouldn't make a difference.

The Denver announcers said MRI (even though Shanny when asked didn't mention an MRI) for Henry and Ekuban. Ekuban's injury looked a lot worse as it was an achilles injury and he couldn't put any weight on it.

Henry was walking around on the sidelines and was taped up. But to put it in perspective, Javon Walker has his left leg all taped up on the sidelines too so who knows.

I read from a reliable source (can't find the link) that he exits that list after game 3 this year. I don't remember the details as to how long players stay on, etc., but his exit as of the 3rd game I do remember because I thought it was important.

I heard this as well, 3rd or 4th game of the year he would cycle out of the program.

Hrmmm. Bell is still out there and my late 8th pick is now on the clock. Is Bell the true #2?
Supposedly, but that could change with the breeze. Shanahan has never been afraid to ignore his stated depth chart and go with someone else. There is no way for anyone on this board to tell you with certainty how carries would be allocated among Bell, Sapp, and A. Hall if Henry were to go down for an extended period.

Shanahan: Henry probably has 1st degree MCL strain pending MRI

Ekuban has ruptured achilles and gone for the year. Bad day for the Broncos.
