Travis Henry Value (1 Viewer)

Well, with me having Shawn Alexander and Droughn on the bye, I traded Jerrious Norwood to the Dunn owner for Henry.

Let's be honest, Henry has a small chance to emerge at best a RB3. Looks like Chris Brown is odd man out and with Lendale White beeing a rookie, Henry could earn the top spot on the team. The Titan offense will be playing behind, so I don't see a great running game.

With Henry's good years in Buffalo(2002-2003), we know Henry can handle the load. I don't see why Fisher won't just give him 20 carries a game and see what he can do. He's been in the garage the last few years, so with him being fresh, why not see what he can do?

I don't know about the rest of the year, but with Chester off this week I traded Chambers in a keeper league for Henry and Porter, so I need Henry to look decent this week.

I'd take 75 yards and a TD and be more than happy.

Tennessee schedule rest of the way is:

Oct 15 @Washington 1:00pm

Week 7 BYE

Oct 29 Houston 1:00pm

Nov 5 @Jacksonville 1:00pm

Nov 12 Baltimore 1:00pm

Nov 19 @Philadelphia 1:00pm

Nov 26 N.Y. Giants 1:00pm

Dec 3 Indianapolis 1:00pm

Dec 10 @Houston 1:00pm

Dec 17 Jacksonville 1:00pm

Dec 24 @Buffalo 1:00pm

Dec 31 New England 1:00pm

Definitley think Henry has value this week and Week 8, 13, and 14.

With Brown being demoted to 3rd string, what is Henry's value going forward?
as a Brown and Henry owners in 2 dynasty leagues I am just glad to see one of them getting the bulk of the work
Thanks for the info.
Henry will be a OK #3 RB or a OK play for a flex I think at some point Tennessee has got to get White for playing time. if/when that happens Henry's value will go down

Any new opinions based on today's game. I can't watch it, but his numbers certainly look good, and he may help them win their first game.

Two straight games with 125+ rushing yards. I see no reason to believe Henry won't be a valuable RB2 in most fantasy leagues. I'm sure L.White will steal carries towards the end of the year, but he's sure to be a valuable player until that happens.

Had him thrown in a trade and was just happy to have a RB... but this guy has been huge for me.

Titans seem to be a new team, can't figure out why though. Almost beat the Colts and then an impressive win over the Skins. Henry has had awesome numbers but I really haven't had a chance to watch the games. Have seen some highlights and he looks strong and it looks like there are nice holes for him to run thru.

I'm definitely thinking he should be at worst a RB3 for me here on out.

Decided to start him over foster last night

Changed my mind this morning.

Changed it back to Henry starting 20 minutes before kickoff.

Probably won me my game (just need a point or two from a couple of guys).

Here is to Travis The Man Henry! :banned: :banned: :banned:

I still consider him trade bait, but nobody in the league seems to want him too much. I'll be happy to keep him around for now, and will start again depending on matchups.

Henry's emergence these past few weeks is jsut wat the Titans needed. If Fisher wants to win and give his young QB a healthy chance to develop, then he should stick to his coaching plan of the last few games. Whcih means Henry should continue to receive the bulk of the carries from here on out. The titans look like a better team with HEnry at RB.

Dynasty Outlook---

Plus he is signed to a Cap-Friendly contract through 2009. Perhaps he and Lendale will make a good 1--2 Punch for years to come.
