Tre Mason (1 Viewer)

Actually playing him over Ellington despite PPR league. I don't like the way the arrow is pointing for Andre, and at least Fisher will probably lean on Mason. Hopefully he can get in the end zone once or twice.

I am debating starting him or Jennings. Both are good matchups. Jennings is a more "plodding" get your 11 points RB, Mason has more upside. Thoughts??

Mason has been held back by game script and tough defenses. He's run hard, busted some big plays. This week they should be able to run the ball and control the game and Oak isn't tough vs the run. I expect a very big game out of him and 100+ yards rushing, 30+ receiving and at least a TD is what I'm anticipating.

The matchup at home against Oakland is just about as good as it gets. He is definitely high in the expert rankings for the week. I want to play Mason this week over guys like Hill and Crowell, but his lack of TDs is really concerning. He's been pretty consistent, but not spectacular thus far. Are you guys plugging him in with confidence?
For what it's worth I am in the same boat and have:

Hill in over mason in PPR

The Crow Flexed over mason in a Non PPR

I do wish I could find a spot for him and am more apt to stick him in over Crow than Hill. Decisions, decisions.

How does everyone like mason moving forward for next year/dynasty?

Three leagues with Mason. Bench in one (Hill, Lynch, and Bell), bubble with Mathews (standard), and solidly in over the likes of Cecil Shorts/Charles Clay (PPR).

Good luck everyone.

His value should grow a great deal if STL can finally get a worthwhile QB in there and ditch Schotty.
The arrow is pointing up, although Zac Stacy was ceremoniously dismissed as the feature back. Mason could also follow that path if he struggles.

Of course, Mason was drafted in the 3rd despite Stacy on the roster. What the Rams do in FA or the draft will be telling again.

I have him on the bench with Crowell playing over him. Even with West getting carries, I don't think Mason will have that many chances in the red zone.

Ended up plugging him in for all leagues....feel like the big one is coming against the Raiders.

The game announcer noted Mason became just the fifth RB (player?) in league history with 100+ rushing yards in a game with as few as 4 carries. Interestingly, it has happened in back to back weeks (OAK's Latavius Murray last week).
