You know, it is possible to have a crime show where the police officers are good people with no skeletons.

Maybe I'm tiring of the - all cops are secretely damaged, broken, corrupt people who are either evil or stupid. I mean, we have three lead cops in this show. One is a corrupt drunk, the other is emotionally broken drunk who hates men, and the third is suicidal. I don't expect anyone to be Mr. Rogers, but still.

The show has potential (I still haven't seen the first season) but nothing really grabbed me on this. The best character was David Morse who continues to be a massively underrated character/supporting actor who usually does a phenominal job.

There are 37 different CSIs you can watch if you like.

Pretty clear that Asspen's dad was so pissed off about getting beat up that he killed that city planner dude to get back at Farrell. It's the long way around, but it will be hard to trace it back to him. He did some digging and knows that if Vaugh is ####ed, Farrell is ####ed, so he killed the guy to screw the Caughn deal over. Brilliant, actually. I bet he's also the guy that fathered Chad making him and Asspen brothers.

I'm still not convinced that ###-pen had anything to do at all with the kid's shoes. Kid might be more scared of repercussions from the real bully than from his own dad so he might have given up a bad name, just like the gitmo guys do under enhanced interrogation techniques.
