TV Shows / Series that were cancelled too early (1 Viewer)

Anyone mention Original Star Trek yet? I mean, it all worked out for fans of the show, to put it mildly, but 45 years and however many billions of dollars later, I think it's pretty clear that it was cancelled a bit too early.
Good one, but 4 years is pushing the envelope on too early.

Gilligan's Island was also cancelled after 4 years.

Quantum Leap should still be on today
Was going to post this. Well, maybe it shouldn't still be on, but they should have played it out to a conclusion. Abruptly cancelling it in the middle of a cliffhanger ending and adding in text that he was forever lost in limbo or some stupid crap like that.

I'll add my two -

Third Watch - They cancelled it right at the peak of a major story line. Never knew why this show didn't get more viewers.

The Unit - Good action. I get that the story got a little repetitive, but good show.

It was actually just three seasons. My point is that given the subsequent explosion of the franchise into a pop-culture phenomenon, it seems, well, logical to conclude that its cancellation was a bit premature.

My wife loved Third Watch. I thought it was ok, but I didn't care if I missed it, the way I would if I missed the Walking Dead.

Or just right. Like Costanza, left on a high note.

You are correct, it was 3 seasons, not 4.
