Incarcerated Bob Reported on his Twitter account that there was a "shoving match" after the game between Rex Ryan and offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer because of the benching of RB Shawn Green and play calling.

Imagine how bad things would have gotten if there was actually a Shawn Green on the team.
 
Reportedly, Schottenheimer was the aggressor and shoved Rex. Not the other way around.

 
So wait a second...putting aside whether this is true or not, is the story that Rex benched Greene and Schotty disagreed or the other way around?

And shouldn't he have been benched? Two fumbles and a complete bobble of a dump off pass, not to mention looking gassed compared to his aging, 10-year veteran teammate?

 
Last year we had 2-3 OCs that were fired right before the season began, I think Chan Gailey was one of them...I wonder if there is anyway we see that after week 1.

The play calling for the NY jets was absolutely terrible but why didn't Sanchez take a few shots down the field? Even at the end he was just throwing short and dump off passes, it was ridiculous.

When I was listening to Rex's post-game press conference he was asked whether Greene was benched and his response was "I didn't bench him." So, if he was indeed benched, then it sounds like Schotty made the decision. That being said, I still don't see how a head coach can let an OC bench a player - if the coach wants the guy to play all he has to do is walk down the sideline and say he wants the guy back on the field.

Yep. The biggest problem with signing Cromartie was that Greene lost his end zone escort. Wouldn't surprise me at all if LT ends the year with more touches than Greene.
 
It's surprising that Rex and Brian were actually in the same room together. Both of their heads are so large that it makes it virtually impossible to fit.

I would take this news with a huge grain of salt.

While he was one of the 1st to report that Revis signed with the Jets he also claimed that LeBron was signing with the Knicks.
