Two murderers escape from NYS high security prison (1 Viewer)

So the husband might have been involved too - and they say married folks can't work together...

Cuckold IMO
Though I guess if you were trying to get out of a troubled marriage, having your wife be the getaway driver for a couple of murderers might achieve that end.-QG
 Dude might be partying like it's 1999 tonight. She was arrested and charged with promoting prison contraband and criminal facilitation.

How sweet it is. She loved him.

Are these guys in the states or in Canada by now? No mention of robberies or stolen cars that I know of or none have been "reported". Too bad it's not winter.
Summer's a great time to escape prison. These guys could hook up with some carnies that run those small town amusement parks in mall parking lots. Its work and place to stay. Paid under the table. I bet most of those carnies have done time to begin with so they'll protect them.
Smell like cabbage. Small hands.

Too bad the US doesn't have a way to deal with killers so they could never bother anyone ever again.

I like how they talk about how bad these guys are. How they are the worst of the worst, are the devil, will kill again without hesitation... Oh, and also they were put in the "Honor Block" where criminals who showed good behavior could be given more privileges and leniency. Makes sense.
Guess you never managed people in your life
I have never managed murderers in my life. If that is what you are implying, you are correct.

Gotta love how this piglet tried to throw her husband under the bus. 'He was in on it'.

Update - 'I was going to drive these 2 losers over to my house so they could kill him'. Someone shoot this bag.

Wonder if he will now wake up, smell the coffee and quit defending this hag.

It's amazing how long people can hide up there until you realize how remote some of these places are.

If these guys should run for president, this guy should be supreme chancellor of the universe.

When is it ok to start rooting for these guys to make it?

I am picturing them together on a deserted mexican beach working on a boat, drinking margaritas.

Why would anyone root for them to make it? They are murderers.
A Scottish old timer in Scotland, in a bar, talking to a young man.

The Old Man says, "Lad, look out there to the field. Do ya see that fence? Look how well it's built. I built that fence stone by stone with me own two hands. I piled it for months."

"But do they call me McGreggor-the-Fence-Builder? Nooo..."

Then the old man gestured at the bar. "Look here at the bar. Do ya see how smooth and just it is? I planed that surface down by me own achin' back. I carved that wood with me own hard labour, for eight days."

"But do they call me McGreggor-the-Bar-builder? Nooo..."

Then the old man points out the window. "Eh, Laddy, look out to sea...Do ya see that pier that stretches out as far as the eye can see? I built that pier with the sweat off me back. I nailed it board by board."

"But do they call me McGreggor-the-Pier-Builder? Nooo..."

Then the old man looks around nervously, trying to make sure no one is paying attention.

"But ya #### one goat..."

"Alleged" murderers. I'm sure the cases are just stuck in some level of appeal.

Also, if I am a police officer with any level of involvement, I'm calling the Zihuatanejo, Guerrero P.D. to have eyes and ears everywhere for these two. :tinfoilhat:

I've read that there is a lot of animosity between the feds and local cops. They won't cooperate or share information with each other. There were instances where one area was searched twice by the two groups, and other areas gone unsearched because they won't back down.

Amazing they haven't been caught yet going into week 2 with all the resources there scouring every square inch. There has to be more people involved especially if they are out of the area. I bet some of Joyce's buddies in or on the outside of prison are all in on this. No way was it just her and her husband (though he hasn't been charged yet).

They showed Joyce Mitchell in court earlier today. Complete poker face. If these 2 wind up committing more crimes, her charges will for sure be upped from what they are now.

Sounds like law enforcement is not happy with the governor, either. Apparently, he had them holding up and clearing the way for him to arrive so he could be there in front of the TV crews when the inmates were captured.

Whoops-a-daisy.

From what I am hearing here in NY, our self absorbed and small minded gov may be the reason - basically wanted this to shine a great light on him so instead of accepting help from other agencies he has kept them out of the loop looking for the NY State police to run the show.

Well, that's worked out just dandy huh

I have a growing dislike for this gov more so everyday.

Serious question: Culpable if these two are not captured/if they commit a crime, if the above is in fact true?

Seems pretty clear these guys had someone as a "plan b" - they supposedly had cell phones with them, right?

I don't think they'll up her charges if these guys commit more crimes - I don't see how they'd be able to do that.

I think she was smart to have a panic attack btw. I 100% believe they woulda ended up killing her.

I don't know NY State law but she almost definitely could have charges added on. No crimes would have happened but for her help in releasing them.

Her husband may not have been totally in on the real plan: apparently, after helping them escape, they were supposed to kill him for her.

The lawyers on CNN said it's 100% it would happen. I forgot what it would be but look it up and see what they said about it.

Damn. Watching Erin Burnett Out Front Now. This story on now...

The search on them has gone cold. Who knows if she knows what their plan was. I'd think since she was plan B that she didn't, for fear at least that she would break down and reveal.

So she bailed on these two killers, then ratted out their deal/plan to kill her husband? She may want to be thankful that she's locked up right now.

Her plan was to get them to kill her husband. Their plan was probably to kill both of them.

Yep,

would have to think if they agreed to kill the hubby and went through it I could see them wanting no part of her being alive

Could have very well planned to kill no one, and just told her they would in exchange for her help. I understand the no witnesses thing, but the last thing I would want to do if I broke out of prison is to start leaving a body trail.

But at the same time, if she was dead, she couldn't give the cops any details of the escape.
