Two players rank #1 (1 Viewer)

At this stage of their careers, Marvin Harrison and Ladanian Tomlinson are at the top of their positions respectively. Which more than etches their place in fantasy football history. Both are discussed as being the best at their position in the real world as well. LT has stayed at the top of the draft. Marvin has steadily slipped down the cheatsheets over the past two or three years. Both ended up being steals this year.

There couldn't be two better examples of class. Undeniably HOFers in fantasy and the real world.

Yeah Marvin might have been a steal as say the 6-10 Wr range but I don't know if that would qualify as a steal. I agree with Fuller LT2 wasn't a steal either. I picked Harrison as the seventh WR in a 12 team league in the 3rd round.

in a lot of leagues LT went at 1.01. How can that be a steal? :lmao:
Because he was worth way more than that.
:X
That was my point exactly. Even if you picked LT first overall, his value was soooo much greater than any other player in fantasy football it can't be measured. As for Marvin, I doubt he was picked as the first wide receiver 99% of the time. He probably wasn't the first wide receiver picked from the Colts half of the time.

You said they have never been #1 before, but Harrison was the #1 WR in '99, '01, and '02.

I still agree with your overall point that these are both classy guys that are achieving late in their careers and were probably steals in most leagues. I just wanted to set the record straight.

:goodposting: Updated correctly.

I got Harrison with the 20th pick in my draft. He was the 4th WR taken, after Steve Smith, Chad Johnson, and Randy Moss. For a while, I was kicking myself for taking Harrison instead of Torry Holt, who started a lot stronger, but Harrison was money down the stretch.
