UFC wagering: no longer stuck with the old thread title. The window to change it is here! (8 Viewers)

if i had to bet this fight, i would take Nick Ring. Brett Hart is walking out with him and will be in the corner, has to give him an advantage

Home court advantage decision, they gave nick ring all the close rounds
I had it the same way as the judges. They're not supposed to say "oh well, we already gave one close round to Ring - McGee can get the other one". I thought Ring clearly landed the better shots in the first two rounds, though McGee was the one moving forward.Third round to McGee, no question.

LOL Bisping a legit threat. Beat someone worth a #### first. He's failed time ....after time.....after time....after time.....after time against any legitimate contenders.

First round was close, 2nd round NR landed 3 one-shot punches while mcgee was pressing forward and landing combinations and landed a head kick. CM clearly won round 3. Cesile Peouploues strikes again

The punches Ring landed in the second round were the best shots in the fight. McGee pressed forward, but hardly any of his strikes actually landed clean. Given the convoluted scoring criteria, I'm not saying rounds 1 and 2 were clear-cut at all, but I'd have given them to Ring. :2cents:

PS. Ring/McGee should've been on the main card. #### Matt Riddle.
:goodposting: i got clements, jordan, boetsch and faber. contemplating taking james head, Ebersol coming off a fight a few weeks ago and he just wants to drop in weight. at +300 it may be worth a shot

I see where you're coming from, but the opposing view to this is that McGee was much more active throwing and landing his strikes during the second than Ring and controlled the pace and action for the most part. Ring definitely landed a couple of hard shots, but he didn't do anything else - I felt like McGee was in control of the first half of the round, got in trouble briefly and then regained control over the last minute or so. I would've scored it R1 to Ring and R2/3 to McGee.

:lmao: That was a freaking awesome.

Ebersole should win fight of the night just based on that attempt. We need a gif of that.

I got it even after 2 rounds.
i think Head has this. Ebersol did the UFC a big solid taking this fight with only a few weeks from his last one, but i think it was too much for him to take this fight right away. especially with him committing to drop a weight class

I'm in to cover a few 2 fighter parlays I have with Ebersole.
 not sure how they'll score it, but i am sure this probably made watching the fight easier for you

agreed - Ebersole did an interview with Middleeasy a little while back talking about how he's on a serious vegetarian diet to get ready for 155 and he walks around at about 169-170 right now. Head's a big WW and he looked a lot stronger than Ebersole tonight.
