Which dissapointing stud players do you think will rebound with a nice stretch of solid games?
My list:
Matt Hasselbeck
- In some scoring formats, Hasselbeck is ranked below McNair and Culpepper in fantasy points. With two games against St. Louis, plus a schedule of Oakland, SF, Green Bay, and Arizona, I think Hasselbeck will see some real improvement. The return of TE Jeremy Stevens should also contribute to a better output for Hasselbeck.
Tiki Barber
- No TDs so far for Tiki, but I see that trend reversing. Yes, Jacobs is vultering touches. But Jacobs only has one TD. Barber is averaging over 23 touches per game, and I believe that he will start to earn more TDs.
Chad Johnson
- There are still plenty of weapons in Cincinatti, but I see Johnson as a good buy low candidate. With Chris Henry falling out of favor, Johnson is due for more targets. And as Houshmandzadeh continues to impress, defenses will be forced to cheat more coverage towards TJ.
Randy McMichael
- McMichael isn't having a bad season, but I think he can do better. Who would have thought that McMichael would enjoy his best game in 2006 with Joey Harrington as the starter? Hard to believe it, but it looks like both McMichael and Chambers will be more valuable with Harrington under center.
