Theoretically though, curious what would have happened? Interested to know if the Pats would have been inside the 5 with a new set of downs or not.No matter....If this does get overturned, how do the two personal fouls impact the next down?

SInce you can't touch it til the 25 I do not see why not.I'd try an onside here.
The way they've been returning the ball tonight, that's a huge meltdown.Ravens going nuts on the field.
Couldn't have happened to a better coach. That time out. OMG that time out!!
Controversial how? Even if they would have called Gaffney out of bounds the Pats would've scored the TD anyways. What a crappy and controversial ending to an otherwise awesome game.![]()

3 man rush again. How F###ing stupid can you be?
I don't think I've ever seen a pass ruled complete like that though.Players change hands all the time. look at RBs.. just cause your swapping it.. doesnt mean you dont control the ball.looks like incomplete to me, dont see how you can change hands and consider that having control of the ball. Refs will give it to them though, have given them the rest
clutch brady, he did a great job of getting the ball tipped, getting a flag on 4th down twice, extra time out. Man brady is huge there
Can they kick a FG from here?lmao @ "They are going to be kicking off at the Ravens 35"
OMG WHY DO YOU HAVE TO YELL AT US?ANOTHER CALL IN FAVOR OF THE PATS. GOOD LUCK TRYING TO SAY THEY DON'T GET ALL THE CALLS. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. JUST GIVE THEM THE PERFECT SEASON ALREADY...
lol if Gostkowski kicks it out of bounds and they get it at the 40.
yes they would have. The penalties still would have counted.Theoretically though, curious what would have happened? Nah it's more fun to call the Patriots cheaters......People can cry about the call there, but the Ravens let Gaffney get wide open, and Brady hit him.Perhaps you should cry about that...
Agreed. Ref-ball blows, for everyone involved. What a crappy and controversial ending to an otherwise awesome game.![]()

That's pretty poor logicFlaming Moe said:The Refs didn't call the timeout.Refs gave this game to the Pats hereThat's a VERY shady illegal contact call, and there was DEFINITELY movement on that ball in Gaffney's hands after he stepped out...I've seen longer reviews for spotting the ball, they spend 30 seconds on THAT? BS all the way
Brady's not a grown-up?Grown-ups don't beotch about the calls. Scott should be ejected.Ravens shouldn't of given it away. It's that simple.
What about those of us who aren't fans of either team and don't care much who wins but want to see professional referees who are competant?People can cry about the call there, but the Ravens let Gaffney get wide open, and Brady hit him.Perhaps you should cry about that...

resppectfully i dissagree. RBs are changin hands during a run. WRs "changing hands" during a catch is completely different. plus i don't think he was changing hands, that ball was barely touching either hand. i don't care who wins either way, but i don't think that was a catchPlayers change hands all the time. look at RBs.. just cause your swapping it.. doesnt mean you dont control the ball.looks like incomplete to me, dont see how you can change hands and consider that having control of the ball. Billick should clean out his office -- how do you freeze your offense for an entire quarter. Not blitz brady. Call that timeout. Be a disgrace.

hmmm. interestingRiddle me this . . .On kickoffs, isn't the rule that kicking the ball out of bounds results in the ball being spotted 30 yards from the spot of the kick? If so, he should kick the ball out of bounds and pin them at the 5 yard line.

And the refs paid the Ravens to call that timeout at the worst possible time too.IT'S AN INSIDE JOB, WAKE UP SHEEPLE!!Leave it to the flippin' refs to decide the games, yet again.........Then again, who's surprised..........and it's in the pats favor, no????
