That will be the first "real" game of the cycle.

I'm surprised the as yet unannounced opposing team's fans acted so quickly! The first US Gold Cup game in Minnesota's new stadium has already sold out!

who would you think- Mendez?I am still working my way through the Extra Time podcast with Berhalter but he said one interesting thing and that is he is already considering call ups from the U20 team.
* Was asked about Jozy and Bradley. Gregg said he will look at every experienced player looking ahead to 2022 with all decisions. He won't rule anyone out nor will he commit to anyone right nowI am still working my way through the Extra Time podcast with Berhalter but he said one interesting thing and that is he is already considering call ups from the U20 team.
Mendez, Dest and Pomykal are the guesses from the twitter media. Read my previous post above, he mentioned his struggles with calling up players who are not yet performing at club level.who would you think- Mendez?
I didn't see all the games, but I didn't see enough to think there were guys there warranting the call-up, tbh. I liked the guys we've discussed pomykol, etc- but don't knwo that they're ready.
This is exactly what I did with my middle school team this year. He kinda sounds like a clone of me all around lol. I always win fwiw.So I finally watched this... I like it. Way too short summary is a 4231, lots of pressing, fullbacks overlap, wingers sometimes swap, and DM's run a double pivot. One of the DM's stays back (Trapp at Columbus) the other may play more like a traditional Box to Box. Higuian pulls the strings in attack as the CAM. The backline sometimes looks like a back 3 because of Trapp playing back so far, especially on a counter when fullbacks are caught forward.
it'll be a slow death though.I will die on this hill.
OffsideThe Werder Bremen coach has not always translated well but this tweet really sounds like Sargent is dressing for the first team on Friday

7.5mil transfer fee, up to 10mil if he hits incentives. can't remember if that's euros or dollahs.Because Columbus has not had enough news in one week, Ives just tweeted that Steffen to Man City is complete and he is expected to go on loan to Ligue 1 in France.
That has to be such a huge confidence boost to have Bayern fn Munich buy you after a loan. Congrats to him - hope he keeps it up.========================
One year ago Chris Richards was still just a kid from Alabama dreaming about a professional soccer career. Now Richards is on the verge of being the subject of a seven-figure transfer to one of the biggest clubs in the world.
FC Dallas and Bayern Munich are putting the finishing touches of a transfer that would keep the 18-year-old with Bayern, the club he joined on loan in the summer.
Sources tell Goal the transfer would be a $1.25 million deal, making him the latest American teenager to complete a move to Germany.
I see that as being a very good thing for NY. If Adams develops the way we all expect him to, he's gonna sell for $30-$40M to an EPL team in 3-4 years. England teams are tripping over themselves to grab a share of the US market and having the top US players on their teams has become a priority.NewlyRetired said:Being reported that Adams was sold for $3m (very low) with a sell on fee of 33% (very high).
I thought Adams was worth in the $6-7m range which means if he is to get to that value he is going to need to be sold for at least $10m before he leaves RB Leizpig.
and from a pure development point of view, getting money for him can now start feeding back into the youth system at Dallas which is obviously so much better than losing him for nothing.Ned said:That has to be such a huge confidence boost to have Bayern fn Munich buy you after a loan. on his very first touch as a pro no lessSarge made the bench for WB today. Subs on at 76' for his pro debut.
Scores in the 78' to make it 3-1.

THE RED BARON SCORES 2 MINUTES AFTER COMING ON!
Not sure how I feel about the Red Baron nickname...
Yeah. I thought he was going there to give him credit for making it happen... Which I've seen him do before. Could've been to check on his health tooLet me channel Taylor Twellman "it's a little thing"
I thought it was pretty cool that Sargent's first reaction after scoring his first professional goal was to go check on his teammate and not celebrate.
I don’t care what they call him, but someone MUST edit any Sargent goal highlight with Never Gonna Give You Up as background music.SV Werder Bremen ENVerified account @werderbremen_en

Weston playing forward again due to Schalke injuries.... not a good sign for Haji.Dortmund vs Schalke today. Weston back in starting lineup, Pulisic healthy enough to make the bench.
Thank you. I couldn’t find him out there...never would have thought to look at the furthest man up the fieldWeston playing forward again due to Schalke injuries.... not a good sign for Haji.
Didn’t know/remember cp was hurtDortmund vs Schalke today. Weston back in starting lineup, Pulisic healthy enough to make the bench.
He’s healthy. He’s just been second choice behind Sancho and Bruun Larsen since September in league play.Didn’t know/remember cp was hurt
Andy said in the us thread he was uncertain of dressing due to injury. I knew he was behind sancho on the bench. He’s healthy. He’s just been second choice behind Sancho and Bruun Larsen since September in league play.
Sancho makes sense, but Bruun Larsen in front of him is stupid. Bruun Larsen has not scored or assisted a goal since “winning” his spot over Pulisic in September. No idea why he continues to get the starts outside of wanting a creative attacker as an impact sub, which is a weak reason IMO.
his calf has been bothering him for a while now. He did not even dress for a recent game as the coach said they were trying to give him some time to heal. The calf issue has been around for a while now.Didn’t know/remember cp was hurt
He’s behind Bruun Larsen too. He had a slight muscle strain last week, but he practiced every day this week.Andy said in the us thread he was uncertain of dressing due to injury. I knew he was behind sancho on the bench.
Showed her boobs in Glow. He’s behind Bruun Larsen too. He had a slight muscle strain last week, but he practiced every day this week.
I’d believe he was sitting due to injury if he had started a game in the league in the last two months, but he’s not at the top of Favre’s sheet.
