I think it says a lot about where we are that anyone in the program thought an 18-yo kid was the solution to any problems.

I think it's clear we don't have the depth we thought we did, or at least that it's not as important as we thought it was.  Just because our backups would be a below average starter on a typical USMNT doesn't mean we can win with a bunch of guys that would be below average starters normally.

Maybe we suck.  But we're definitely not good enough to be missing this many key players and not suck.

I can't remember the last time I have seen a team, any team, look this bad.  They can't do anything.  Our spacing is AWFUL for starters.  There seems to be no chemistry at all.  Guys all moving at different speeds.  Terrible touches all around.  Zero creativity.  We are lucky it's only 1-0.  They need to pull a Nate and park the bus, hope for a Jamie Tart counter goal.  Oh wait, that was a 1-1 match.

Absolute mess.  GGG has lost this team.  It looks like he's given them direction and they just don't care to do it.  I said earlier GGG has earned more time but this looks like a team that is just doing their own thing.  

Or, maybe they've read all the press about how good they should be.  Something isn't right.

Yeah but I think they meant build from the back after the keeper gets the ball organically.  Not pass up a chance at a 1v1 on the edge of the box to back-pass 4 times all the way back to the keeper so you can build from the back.

The game's different when you're not playing a (relatively) meaningless tournament on home soil, and you're in a CONCACAF blood match in the murder capital of the world.
