Do I think it would have been an issue if the US hired a name manager for $10 million plus a year with Jill Ellis (a woman manager who has all the silverware) on a fraction of that? Yeah. But Vlatko is a man who hasn't won anything yet. The USSF settled the Title IX case, not because the case had much legal merit. It didn't. But it was a PR nightmare for the federation. I don't think this would be the same.
