Pepi goal
And all 3 US players scored... Has to be some history made there. For the time being, Pepi tied for first and Tillman is tied for 4th in scoring in the Eredivisie
yeah, I agree. I would be shocked to see if there was another game in Europe where three US players scored. And all 3 US players scored... Has to be some history made there. For the time being, Pepi tied for first and Tillman is tied for 4th in scoring in the Eredivisie
if you see the play, he's running towards the sideline and both feet kinda slipped forward. I thought maybe he took a kick or his studs caught a little... but it was tough to see on the replay on my phone at work. and as mentioned, he was able to walk off under his own power. I think he ultimately was the one to decide to end his own day and not chance it. really hoping it's nothing and he was just being understandably overly cautious. From what little is dribbling out, the talk is that it was Pulisic's calf that tightened up.
Snuck in for a few minutes at the end.LDLT dresses for his first La Liga game of the year.
I would bet not that unique a situation for european or s american players.I don’t agree with his premise (top 20) but ignoring that and even extending it to say a more reasonable top 40, it is a very interesting question

Can anyone find an instance of three different players of the same nationality under the age of 25 scoring in the same game for a top 20 club in the world?

but for US players or players from anywhere but those two regions? that's the history bit I brought up.
see- I think the polyglot team makeup is a more recent thing, so I can see it having happened in europe, BR and ARG. definktely not a "normal" thing, for sure. but I don't think it's a count on one hand type of thing either.I would bet not that unique a situation for european or s american players.I don’t agree with his premise (top 20) but ignoring that and even extending it to say a more reasonable top 40, it is a very interesting question

I bet it is pretty rare. Think of the rarity of the variables that all have to happen at the same time:
* Scoring at least 3 goals in a game
* Having at least 3 goals being scored by different players
* Having the 3 different players all from the same country
* Having all 3 players be under 25 years old
* Limiting the teams to the top X teams (which by definition are almost always made up of players from various countries, especially offensively).

saw this (translated)Any news on CP?
Probably happened for some Brazilians somewhere.I don’t agree with his premise (top 20) but ignoring that and even extending it to say a more reasonable top 40, it is a very interesting question

Probably good news. Thank god it’s not an Achilles injury.Minor calf tear for CP, Milan hope to have him back by January 3rd. https://x.com/meninblazers/status/1866131209283105205?s=46

Pepi in at 74th minutePSV down 1-0 at halftime. Tillman started and Ledezma is on at halftime. I expect we'll see Pepi in the next 20 minutes or so.
You gotta grab brest and beat it when you get the chance. That won't do well for PSVamericaEnd to end action in the PSV game. Benitez great save at one end, and while he's still down on the ground in pain, the Brest goalie robs Pepi of a goal.
Has he played in the US system? I'm trying to remember his nameHis quick rise could make him viable for WC26 I think

Castañeda’s path to the Bundesliga is already mapped out.
Sport Bild are reporting that several Bundesliga clubs including Werder Bremen, 1. FC Heidenheim, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Union Berlin and SC Freiburg are interested in Paderborn midfielder Santiago Castañeda.
Bild reports that Castañeda could leave Paderborn as quickly as next summer, unless something extraordinary happens. This news is even with the fact that Castañeda has a contract until 2027.
I am copying the following from September when I first heard his name.Has he played in the US system? I'm trying to remember his nameHis quick rise could make him viable for WC26 I think

I just saw it now. I had to rub my eyes to make sureReyna starting in a Champions League game and nobody posted it!

Is he locked in with USMNT?Mathis Albert had a piece done on him on a German sports show. Here it is with subtitles. Give it a watch for the hype.
Even in German I learned I was pronouncing his last name wrong.
