Using the DD at my (and possibly your) draft (1 Viewer)

AS you may have seen in previous posts I am having difficulties with a technically challenged league that is trying to make it difficult for me to use the DD for our draft.

I think this is the route that I will take. I'm going to prepare 2 separate DDs, one for my use and one for the masses. Of course mine will have all of the accurate up to date info and tweaks and the other will have tweaks but incorrect and if I can figure out how to do it picks that are extremely wrong for whoever would want to have a look.

This way no one can say that they didn't have the option of using same info and equipment I had.

Actually now that I think of it, I am an IT guy so I can sign out another laptop. What I can do is bring an entirely different laptop than my own with a screwed up DD on it. A DD with the version that has no updates on it (one that anyone can download for free at the site to test and try it out ) Now no one will have the "right" to view my personal info and calculations because a laptop and even the program I run will be available to them.

Their main argument against my not having the use of a laptop is that not everyone may have the money for a laptop themselves. They don't take into consideration the time and effort I put into the other aspects of tweeking the DD for our league rules and my FF "gut" feelings.

This may even screw them up during the draft. If anyone is sitting around trying to figure out how to navigate around in the DD application. They won't know how to use it LMMFAO. Not only that but someone will have to man it if they want to keep it current during the draft (as far as the picks go) no one ever said it had to run smoothly for them. They just wanted access to the same tools I had. So they get them,.......Kind of

I like your idea, but why give them a "screwed up" version? Just give them what they could have gotten for free... the non-member download of DD with it's early projections. I doubt many of them will take the time to figure it out anyways. Who is going to enter picks on that system?

Thats just it.......Not me!!! If one of them want to use it, it is there and available for them. Now they can't complain that they didn't have the same opportinity as I did and they can keep their faces out of my S***.I do think your right though. By the time the season starts the free version would be significantly screwed up for them.

First of all at this time your posting privlidges to this league have been suspended. Unlike Kolb I will not allow personal attacks on the league. I also understand those were not your words but you must have agreed with them or the posting would have not been made.

Secondly my decision is final.The computer is NOT ALLOWED. Posting to the league is not going to change my mind.Every decision I make is not going to please everyone if you cannot accept this I am sorry.

I do not understand why you have to make everything such a big deal. This is suppose to be a bunch of friends getting along having some fun. YOU make it hard for everyone to do that.I had to do a lot of explaining as to why I invited you back in the league. I felt like it was the "right thing to do". But I see your proving me wrong.

No one if forcing you to join this league. If it is not competive enough for you or you feel like youe being treated unfair I suggest you drop out of this league and join another one.

I will give you untill the 27th of July to make your decision at this time if one is not made or you forget to get back with me I will get someone else to take your spot and the decision will be made.Hopefully this will not happen but I am willing to move on if you cannot simmer down.

asking. Why the hell are you even in this league?? All you

do is whine, complain, and annoy. I could give a ##### less

that you use your computer. The fact is, no matter what you

or anybody knows about fantasy football, at least half of it

is luck. To have none of your studs go down with an injury

all year is luck. If I were your computer, I would shut

down on you 2 minutes before the draft were to start. And

if I were people in this league, I would realize there is

plenty of time before the draft and plenty of people willing

and wanting to get in this league and kick you out so we

don't have to put up with this bullsh*t all year long and

save us numerous head aches and pains. Hell, I would even

pay for all the drinks at the draft if i had to! Now if by

some chance you want to be a tag a long and stay in this

league, quit your whining and play fantasy football the way

it is supposed to, like it is just a game!!

Hahaha, after reading this, and considering the other two threads on this same exact topic, you suddenly remind me of someone I know who no one likes. I may have to retract my earlier statement that your league is full of douchebags. I mean, it's still dumb that you can't bring a laptop to the draft, but maybe they're only enforcing this rule because they just want you out of the league, and didn't want to hurt your feelings. I'd drop out of the league - you'd probably be doing yourself, your leaguemates, and us all a favor.
