i am not tremendously familiar with the area, but Victoria was my first thought. Whistler/blackcomb is about a 2 hr drive, correct? You could look into a day trip over to Buchart Gardens and Victoria. That was my favorite thing I did in Vancouver.
I have the wife with, so biking is largely out.Go mountain biking in the north shore mountains.
The goal is to get to the boat. Hopefully without being in a cast. We'll be doing stuff like that in Seward.I’d head a little further to Whistler, for some of the best mountain biking on the continent. Or get a guide, and canyoneer or climb in Squamish.
Hiking a possibility?I have the wife with, so biking is largely out.Go mountain biking in the north shore mountains.
Not sure. I'll bounce it off the wife. Not sure if she wants to do the tourist thing or something active to start out. We do plan on walking up Mt. Marathon in Seward, so we're not slugs.Hiking a possibility?I have the wife with, so biking is largely out.Go mountain biking in the north shore mountains.
@waiver wire lives near there. He will have some local knowledge.
HAL. No particular reason other than they have their music walk, which sounded cool.@waiver wire lives near there. He will have some local knowledge.
Sorry that I missed this
I was in Mexico , checking out resorts for a week and got home last night at 230
Was up today at 730 for a Celebrity Solstice ship inspection
Weather is great so have a great cruise , who are you sailing with : RC, HAL or Celebrity ?
Thanks for your kind offer Zigg. I also hope we have a blast on the boat. Weather looks good!Vancouver is an extremely beautiful city, without a lot of stuff to do besides nature based activities. Hope you have a blast on your cruise.
I usually recommend Granville Island and Capilano suspension bridge(very nice but way overpriced).
