Had it done this morning, the no scalpel version. I was extremely nervous but literally felt nothing during the 10 minute procedure. I've been icing with frozen peas. No discomfort while on the couch, but when I stand and walk get very mild ache as the blood flows down.

Literally a zero out of 10 on the pain scale.

Linked to aggressive prostate cancer

Vasectomy was not linked with an increased risk of low-grade prostate cancer. But it was associated with a 20 percent higher risk of advanced prostate cancer and a 19 percent greater risk of fatal prostate cancer, respectively, the study authors said.
