Bally's North tower is not bad. Staying at Harrhas this time for 2 days until we move to Aria.Bally's is connected to Paris so that's why i would choose that one. But overall they are pretty much the same

I hear ya, but looking at the room rates when I'm logged into total rewards, I can get the south tower for $90 total for Saturday through Friday (6 nights) and it's a good $500 for the north tower. Just looking to keep the room costs low.In comparison, the Flamingo is $105 and Harrah's is $40 (all of the basic rooms).

A thirty something here and the reason I like PH is the fact that it seems to have more 20 something chicks than other casinos.Regarding the wifey talk, my fiance and I are looking to head out there (she'll be the wife by then). Should be a blast at the clubs, different food options (she'll probably want a show, any help?) and a fun social place, as mentioned. If you are into the scene.

I'd pay the extra $15 and go with Flamingo.

I may then have to rescind my comments, although when I was there (albeit middle of the day and not for long) a month ago, there was noticeably more talent than elsewhere. Maybe at night the 30+ skeevers (not that I'd know who THEY are) scared the talent away?

This is a very good question - at least a 25 and a 38 year old. Palms' clubs were still hopping when I went a month ago (I was a bit surprised as it's been a while). What hotel would be best for the party crowd.

Will be staying at MGM during 4th of July weekend. Will be going with a couple of buddies from work tentative plan is heavy drinking and lots of clubbing. Any suggestions (group age range is 25-30) on where to go. Been to Vegas a couple of times now but wondering if their is any specific location to go during 4th of july.

I'm not a clubbing kind of guy, so this recommendation might be lame, but the bar at Mix at Mandalay Bay has the best view of the strip you will ever see, especially at night. If you are looking for a fantastic dinner, or just a place to have some drinks before "really" going out, you should check it out. I'm not sure if they do fireworks on the strip for the fourth (I was there about six years ago and they didn't do anything), but if they do, I would spend the evening at Mix and watch the show.

I've always seen good looking ladies in there, but usually I'm with my wife and we go to the restaurant for dinner, and I'm not really paying much attention. But it is a pretty fancy place, so you won't be getting much riff raff in there.

Yeah they were booked, didn't do anything.Regarding Tao, if we go there for dinner at say 9PM, maybe just sit at the bar (if we can get seated) if we hang out long enough, are we considered in "the club" or is it a separate space and entry process (line, etc..)? Oh yeah, used the hookup from this thread for O tickets too (thank you to whomever posted - think it was Judge Smails, but not sure right now). little story....bought the tickets about a week or two before the show. tickets were at the concierge desk the day before the show. Well, when I went to the show, showed them my tickts, they scanned them and there was a problem, told me I needed to go to the counter. Guy at the counter told me the tickets had a problem, asked me where I got them, etc... At this point I figured I had been scammed, so although I was slightly peeved, I figured I'd give me girl a text/call and see wtf was going on. 5 minutes later, got a call back and she apologized profusely and asked me if I could go back and ask for so and so and I'd have new tickets waiting for me. Went back, before I get to the counter, a nice young woman asks if I'm mr. guru, I said yes, and she hands me two new tickets. Okay, walk to the door, and they work this time, no problem, like 6th row, dead center, awesome show. After this trip, I think I'm officially old. 6 days is probably more than I should go anymore, I'd should probably stick to 3 day trips

Saw it last year and it was very good. The way seating is arranged, there are no bad seats. Everyone is positioned as to achieve full view. If you like Beatles music and acrobatics, you will enjoy this.

Agreed, the seating is excellent there all around. For some of the other Cirque shows I'd recommend being in the middle and up a bit (not balcony high, but the highest mid-level spot). So much stuff going on that you might miss some of it if you're too close (Mystere especially).

Flights...usually the sooner the better. Hotels...might be the opposite if its a down time for them, but you won't know that until the beginning of Sept.

I just got back from visiting over Memorial weekend. I stayed at Caesar's and it was so so. Our room was good, but staying in the Palace Tower was a hike especially after we booked the Augustus Tower which was in the front.

I will be staying at Cosmopolitan next time. It is opposite side of Bellagio from Caesar's. Loads of talent there all hours of the day. Still love visiting the Bellagio during the day and yes it still has imo the best sports book around.

Ran into Kevin Durant at the Wynn. He nearly ran right into me as I exited the cashier line. I shook his hand and said, "What's up dude?" Had a few drinks in me at the time.

Had a really good craps run at the Palms. Also did well at Mandalay Bay. Nothing really to brag about at any of the others.

Also, had dinner at Trevi's in Caesar's and it was spectacular. If you are looking for a good meal, but not looking to break the bank Trevi's is a good spot.

Have you ever stayed at Paris. Are CP and Paris equal? I may have to stay at one or the other to play their golf courses next time out there. I've stayed at Paris once and thought it exceedingly average, but passable.

I just got back from visiting over Memorial weekend. I stayed at Caesar's and it was so so. Our room was good, but staying in the Palace Tower was a hike especially after we booked the Augustus Tower which was in the front.I will be staying at Cosmopolitan next time. It is opposite side of Bellagio from Caesar's. Loads of talent there all hours of the day. Still love visiting the Bellagio during the day and yes it still has imo the best sports book around.Ran into Kevin Durant at the Wynn. He nearly ran right into me as I exited the cashier line. I shook his hand and said, "What's up dude?" Had a few drinks in me at the time.Had a really good craps run at the Palms. Also did well at Mandalay Bay. Nothing really to brag about at any of the others.Also, had dinner at Trevi's in Caesar's and it was spectacular. If you are looking for a good meal, but not looking to break the bank Trevi's is a good spot.peas.

Have you ever stayed at Paris. Are CP and Paris equal? I may have to stay at one or the other to play their golf courses next time out there. I've stayed at Paris once and thought it exceedingly average, but passable.

I've stayed at Paris. I guess CP is a little better (but not by much), but wouldn't mind staying at either of them. The room was bigger at CP and the pool is a lot better. I like gambling better at Paris. I think if I could have gotten in the front tower at CP, I'd be a lot higher on the place. By the end of the weekend, the walk to the back of the property was pretty annoying.
