Is it out of the realm that Vernon Gholston will turn out to be a 2008 version of Vernon Davis? Davis is the TE who had the terrific showing at the Combine a few years back and who parlayed that into a huge contract with the 49ers only to not set the world on fire.

I don't think it's comparable, but I don't think Gholston will be a very good NFL player. Maybe just a 3rd down guy.
