Decided to give crusader kings a shot. Obviously the learning curve is super steep. I had absolutely no idea what was going on.
My BIL got attacked by one of our neighbors and I couldn't figure out how to do anything about it. Then my sister was #####ing about the fact that she wasn't married. Then I get attacked, but can't declare war against the guy who did it. My wife popped out 2 more sons, but I eventually got rolled.
Gonna take a while to figure out what the #### I'm doing.
This game sounds so ####ing awesome. I love these posts.
ok then, I stumbled onto CK2 about a month ago. I have a long history with Paradox games, but recently I have been scared of them since I have a family to feed.
I married my oldest son to the oldest daughter of the Hungarian king. In order to ensure I would inherit their lands I had to assassinate my wife's younger brother. I thought I was safe because the king's wife was 40 something and they had no other male heirs. The king then put the queen in prison and petitioned the Pope for divorce, which was granted. He then proceeded to marry a young thing and produce a new male heir by age 50. I of course attempted to assassinate this son also, but this time I was caught. My wife now plots against me with her father. I cannot get my queen to sleep with me so she will not produce a heir, and because of this game I cannot get my real wife to sleep with me either.
My dynasty is in ruin.
