Vikings Draft - Sporting News style (1 Viewer)

My impression is that Vikings fans would take this draft in a second:

1-7 Leon Hall CB

2-41 Robert Meachem WR

3-72 Victor Abiamiri DE

4-106 Drew Stanton QB

5-146 Lorenzo Booker RB

6-182 Chanci Stuckey WR

7-217 Aaron Brant OT

This is out of this weeks Sporting News so it is not an old Mock. Based on most of the Mocks I have seen:

Meachem is going mid to late first.

Stanton is going early to late second.

Booker is going in the 3rd.

What do Vikings fans think of the above draft for the Vikings?

I'm not a Vikings fan, but that draft would be a slam dunk IMO. Fills huge needs with some talented guys. I'm a believer in Stanton, and Meachem is going to be a very good player. I do not think it will happen, though.

That's way more than any team could hope for. But if it happened, Vikings nation would be thrilled.

The Hall pick seems odd since Griffin & Winfield have the starting spots locked, I believe. Plus, CB in a Tampa 2 just isn't all that necessary.

Getting Meachem in the 2nd and Stanton in the 4th would be a steal (neither have any likelihood of happening either). I've long been an advocate of Booker to the Vikings. Stuckey has potential.

Abiamiri would add quality depth, with the chance to start, at the DE position.

It would be a dream draft for the Vikings.

When I saw this mock I thought it was pre-combine before Meachem and Stanton started shooting up but it is this week.
