Waiver Wire & FAAB Discussion heading into the Week 3 games (1 Viewer)

Put a low ball offer in for Steele not really expecting or needing to get him, but I did at 6% of my FAAB. I'm leaning towards playing the wait and see with him after the next 1-2 weeks to see how the backfield shapes out.
You do realize your league mates probably look at this board and can see your 6% bid.
I think he won it with 6% but maybe I'm wrong..
I read it as his waivers hasn't run yet.
But how would they even know who Timmay is?

Unless he truly looks like the spitting image of Tom Hanks.
I get that you didn't understand my other post, or didn't read it. Sometimes you can correlate a poster in this forum with your league by the posts they make about their league in some cases, or you are smart enough to corelate it in other ways, such as when they first join and keep records of FBGs sign-on and if they are in your league.

Are we still allowed to use this emoji? Asking for a friend.

All the power to you for correlating FBG commenters to your league mates and using it to your advantage.

This is why I use a burner account when I comment on the FAAB thread.

:lmao: Sure, use all advantages you can.

Honestly though I haven't kept record of FBGs with my leagues, but you could. The only time it stands out to me is if they post trades that I know just happened in my leagues and then they post them in the trades thread. That is captain obvious.

Even as a rookie with Pacheco as the lead back, he was getting touches. He fumbled last game and, still, he got the touches after Pacheco went down.
He got two token runs with 30 seconds left so they could run down the clock and kick the field goal. So while correct that he got touches, I am unsure they really had any other option
Not sure what you mean by "token runs." In that situation, with the game on the line, giving the rookie those touches over the vet after their starter has gone down seems to be a big nod of confidence.

My league, $1000 budget

Braelon Allen - $125 (I got outbid on this one)
Geno Smith - $28 (me)
D'Onta Foreman - $9
Samaje Perine - $7
Raiders DST - $5 (me)
Carson Steele - $1 (me)
Blake Grupe - $0
Bills DST - $0
Alec Pierce - $0
Quentin Johnston - $0
Ty Chandler - $0
Kareem Hunt - $0

In Sharkpool Uno, Quentin Johnson was the belle of the ball this week. Six bids total, four of them over 10%. Winning bid (mine) was 17.1%. Waiver wire is the Gobi in that league, and QJ may be more mirage than oasis, but I'm willing to roll a die on Jimston Harbert and the 2nd-yr 1st-rd reclamation WR, especially since the Chargers WR corps is a desert of its own.

My league I got Steele for $4 ( $200 budget). No one else bid for him or for Perine or Hunt. Really surprised me. I put in a bid expecting not to get him but you never know . . .

I picked up Rasheed Shaheed for $7/$200 (no other bids) Lost both AJ Brown and Coope Kupp

Quentin Johnson went for $10

Bryce Young dropped for Skylar Thompson in one of my leagues. I’m not buying Dalton. Took a flyer on Young as a backup QB on my bench to come back soon this season and be much improved.

When citing FAAB percentages, are you referring to the bid amount versus the original FAAB budget that all teams started with? Or, the bid amount versus the amount of FAAB available to the particular team owner?
Myself, starting budget. I have bank rolls of 100, 200 and 1000 across multiple leagues so figured the percentage was most usesful

Update: message sent that they meant to drop Bigsby, Etienne returned to his roster and Bigsby dropped. Relieved it was reversed, in big money tournaments that’s a biggie.
This was dynasty but I recall trading Andrew Luck for Josh Allen, DK Metcalf. Luck retired about a week later and I offered to reverse the trade. League’s are better when owners are fair, especially in your case when it is an obvious mistake.

I will say, that kind of reeks of getting a ton of **** for a bad move but its best for league balance. They're not next to each other in the alphabet
