WCFF $350 Super Satellite League (1 Viewer)

I am leaving my local league and entering the world of high stakes fantasy football. I am leaning towards the WCFF $350 Super Satellite League. I was just curious if anyone has competed in that league and what your opinions were.

Thanks.

I know nothing about the satellite leagues, but the WCFF is a good time. However, if I spend $350 on a league this year, it will be the FBG's league.

Yep, played in one last year. It was fine. Sometimes there can be an occasional hiccup getting all the spots filled for a draft, but they work with you. Payment of winnings was not a difficult process. Overall, a decent experience. I recommend it.

...I'm also looking forward to the FBGs leagues - those should be excellent

I would highly recommend the FBG 350. I have played both WCFF and FFPC since thier inception, Nothing against the WCFF, but the FFPC has much faster payouts and better customer service. The teaming of the FFPC and FBG should be great, I'm looking forward to it.

Yes. THe FFPC/FBG 350 is a class ticket and I will be playing it as well - 80%+ pay-out (I believe) and ALL MONEY IS ESCROWED. Plus I've read and like the format.

Thanks for the insight guys. Yeah, I thought, and am still thinking about, the FBGs contest. I like the WCFF a little better at this time because the league will have only 144 teams. Now I know the FBGs league has a bigger payout, but a bigger payout means more teams which also, IMO, increases the luck factor. I'll be doing more research before I decide and, who knows, maybe I'll do both.

I'm not into high-stakes leagues. I end up focusing on the money and it takes the fun away for me. But I would advise you to choose the company that seems the most solid to you-- the one that you're almost positive will pay out if you win. It would be pretty terrible to put all that pressure on yourself, come through with a nice payday...and then get stuck. We've all read the horror stories.

I'd pick the most dependable one regardless of payout or number of teams. If you do well you'll make some nice money no matter which you choose. Just be sure-- I mean absolutely sure-- that the money promised will be there for you if you win. Good luck.

I didn't enjoy playing in my WCFF $250 league last year. League felt very impersonal. Plus its a no trade league (which I understand why they do) but its almost impossible to overcome a bad draft with FA alone. I put off WRs till rounds 5-6 where I thought I did good landing Eddie Royal and Braylon Edwards. With Forte and Marion Barber as my starting RBs, and Lynch as my flex...it was a tough year.
