Seattle fair caught the ball on their own 13. There was a holding penalty on the Cowboys. The Ref asked Holmgren if he wanted the penalty tacked onto the end of the return or a rekick. He picked a rekick. If he had taken the penalty at the end of the return, the ref would have tacked on 10 yards and they would have started at the 23.

Peterson was awful there. You cant be in press coverage and looking in the backfield at the QB at the same time. If you do, you end up getting burnt as bad as Peterson just did. What a terrible play.

I wonder if Holmy will tell us they played hard again this week. He's said it the past few weeks. I don't know. Maybe he should just record it and play it back each week in lieu of his live weekly post game show for the rest of his tenure here. I think I'll make my best decision of the week and skip the holmgren show this week. i already know what he's going to say.

-Jeeb.Seattle doesnt need an ovehaul. They are the same team as they were last year when they won the division and a playoff game minus injuries. They had a horrible start to the season mainly because of the injuries, they have nothing to play for anymore. How many 2-9 teams do you see lighting it up even once they get back healthy? Some new blood in at coach should make a huge difference. Their defense didnt lose any talent from last year or the year before, they just have a god awful coordinator. They really need Hass fully healthy next year and a playmaker at WR.

Yeah they are not nearly as bad as their record indicates and they have some good pieces in place. They need to address the run D up front and probably the O line and then not have the whole team in the hospital at the same time. They will have a much better record next year.

After watching this game is ROMO that good that he makes the team look that good? These guys look terrible with Johnson in there and I don't think Johnson is as bad as he looked in the games he played. Yes he's old and not a full time starter but he was down right terrible. Romo comes back and they are running and throwing the ball everywhere.

Yes Romo is that good. He extends the play and then looks down field and makes a big play. BJ could not do that. Also when he came back it gave a big boost to the whole team and they also got some other players back to make them look a lot better then they did when Romo was out. Romo is the leader and heart and soul of this team.

They do have the new rule where you tack on the penalty yardage at the end of the play. I dont know the nuances of that rule however. But in this case the Ref was motioning to him that the yardage would be added on to the run back. I think Simms even referenced it.Wouldn't the choice be to take it at the 13 or re-kick? I guess I don't either. Was it because the penalty was after the ball was in the air? Because I'm pretty sure that if it occured prior to the kick (which I'd think is more likely) it's either take the ball at the spot, or have them re-kick 10 yards back.
