Yep. Bonehead play aside, when Brown and Curtis come back, how can they keep this guy off the field? He is looking like he's gonna be a good one.I traded for Jackson and needed 14 pts out of him to win tonight. I still think he was a good pick up and I pray that he gets a chance to redeem himself tonight.
To be fair it was the sum of all of your poor choices. Leagues are not won or lost by a single player, let alone a play. And why do so many people think everyone cares how their individual teams are doing? That bonehead play just cost me a league. Got 6 pts left as a buffer against Westy..
This is just a GREAT football game.... period.

There's too much going on in these Monday night threads. Not sure I can keep up.

No, I'm watching the Eagles playing in Dal, dominating up front at the LOS (Dal has less than 20 yds rushing on 9 carries), up 6 and ready to score again. Are you watching last year's game on Tivo??? I really see a pretty evenly matched contest here.Eagles are simply outplaying Dal tonight. They look like the better team.
The occasional comment ain't gonna hurt anything. Besides, a play like that is huge in fantasy football circles, and this is a fantasy football site, so do the math. And why do so many people think everyone cares how their individual teams are doing?

I agree. Chew him out let him get back out there. No blood no foul and the kid has talent.nice to see Reid send Jackson a message by having him in on the next series
Honestly, this is probably the best thing that could have happened to DeSean Jackson at this point in his career- and it's good for fantasy owners. Kid needed a blow to his hubris.

The Cowboys are getting owned on both lines of scrimmage.Sure, go back and ask the people that lost last year when Westbrook took a knee at the 1 and see if they agree with that sentiment. And my other choice was McFadden over SJax. Would you have advised that? Ok great lets carry on. It's a game thread, idle commentary is authorised, feel free to move along and read the next post.To be fair it was the sum of all of your poor choices. If it were the occasional comment it wouldn't be so annoying. Maybe we need an official "game" thread and and official "here is how what just happened affected my team" thread.Or maybe I need another rum and coke. The occasional comment ain't gonna hurt anything. RarelyI don't have cable, so can someone tell me if LJ Smith is even on the field? Thanks.
I missed the sarcasm, I will give you that. I disagree with you. Give him a chance to atone.I agree. Chew him out let him get back out there. No blood no foul and the kid has talent.nice to see Reid send Jackson a message by having him in on the next series![]()
For the same reason people think everyone wants a play-by-play ("Westbrook for 5 yds" etc) despite it being avail on a zillion online sites? And why do so many people think everyone cares how their individual teams are doing?
He's had a couple of targets. On 2nd down, he actually had a target into the endzone that really wasn't that close.I don't have cable, so can someone tell me if LJ Smith is even on the field? Thanks.
I obviously agree with the second point, and I think that there's basically nothing more worthless than people talking about how their team is doing to scores of people who don't give a #### in a game thread. If it were the occasional comment it wouldn't be so annoying. Interesting that this comment would be sandwiched by questions and responses about how much time LJ Smith was seeing. For the same reason people think everyone wants a play-by-play ("Westbrook for 5 yds" etc) despite it being avail on a zillion online sites? And why do so many people think everyone cares how their individual teams are doing?
Yea, there have quite a few shots of McNabb with a big smile on his face. He seems like he just playing a pickup game and having some fun.Was that McNabb trash talking to the fans? I've heard that makes you a punk and horrible human being.Sincerely,P. Rivers
Caught a McNabb tear drop for a sure TD but dropped the ball inches before he crossed the plain of the end zone so he could do his not-even-that-impressive TD celebration.EDIT: That run-on sentence brought to you in part by Bud Light, Jack Daniels, and mixed berry cough drops! What did DeSean Jackson do? I started watching the game right after that happened.

Yup. Just like Rivers. They are hard guys to hate when you realize they just love to play the game.Yea, there have quite a few shots of McNabb with a big smile on his face. We need a 'classic' smiley.Seriously? 4 points would kill them? There's 51 on the board after one half.Good stop by Dallas D here. I think another Eagles TD before the half would be a bit too much to overcome.
What about T.O.?Yup. Just like Rivers. They are hard guys to hate when you realize they just love to play the game.Yea, there have quite a few shots of McNabb with a big smile on his face. it's not the secondary, it's the dline mcnabb has all day back thereWhat's going on with this Dallas secondary? Rodgers and company are gonna tear these guys a new one next week at Lambeau with Driver, Jennings, Jones et al.
I don't know, if they continue to play this way they should be well rested next week, they don't seem to be straining themselves. What's going on with this Dallas secondary? Rodgers and company are gonna tear these guys a new one next week at Lambeau with Driver, Jennings, Jones et al.
You're the Julius Jones guy, right?barber looks bad. They need to get Felix the ball more.Shocking to hear this from you.
I wasn't the first to say it, and at the time I posted it, Barber was 5 carries for 1 yard to Jones 1 carry for 6 yards (and a foot from breaking a long run) plus over 100 return yards and a TD.
Make that (at least) 54 soon.Seriously? 4 points would kill them? There's 51 on the board after one half.Good stop by Dallas D here. I think another Eagles TD before the half would be a bit too much to overcome.
