Week 2 Game Thread - Philly at Dallas (2 Viewers)

Blocking starting to look like the 2nd half of the playoff loss to NYG
After 54 points in the first half, it doesn't surprise me after a cooldown at halftime we saw a punt. I'm just hoping it goes both ways here as it may take just a little time to get the engines reved up again.
There's no pressure on McNabb so far. He will pick them apart given time to throw. They're leaving 6 and 7 in to block most passing downs to drive that point home.

I have heard there are some places on the internet where you can watch NFL games via a live stream, but I don't know FBG policy about talking about such things so I will leave it to you and google.
Well aware, no dice, but thx anyway.Oh well - on the upside, I won't hear Mikey Irvin commentate the 2d half. :goodposting:

I don't have cable
Me either. And WTF Westwood One isn't broadcasting the 2d half? ??? POS radio station

All i'm going to say is MYP2P network is something we should discuss in another FORUM.EU is getting strong against the dollar aint it?

Sweet, I could use a long Folk FG here.
Ssh.. there are 3 people here that i'm pretty sure don't care. I however am all for your long FG.AND IT'S GOOD!
It's OK, I got my rum and coke. And now that you mention it that FG puts me ahead in my "shark league" so  . Not only that, in my big money league I have Westbrook and my opponent has Jackson so :lmao: there. Now in my dynasty league I am only down by three and I have Baskett, so I am  praying for some love, but my opponent has Smith so its pretty sketchy there. Now in my bragging rights league (yeah we are so damn good we don't even play for money there :football: ) I have Romo and I am up by 175.8676 (it is a complex scoring system, most of you guppies couldn't even lift the rule book) and my opponent has Witten. So that one will be close too.

I am going to hit the head, when I get back I will start updating everyone on my IDP leagues, my TD only league (JACKSON!!!! :wall: ) and my IOL (Individual Offensive Linemen) league.
:goodposting: Do you guys call it the shark league even when talking to each other. If one of your sharks is a less of a shark than one of your other sharks is he still a shark?

I'm actually quite interested in your IOL league so I will await your return from the John.
We call it our "Shark League" because Greg Norman plays in it. Still on the John, will be back soon.

Now, that's funny.

wtf? that should have been Felix Jones' td! MBIII sux0rs!! he can't handle Felix's jock...why does he even play?

Another horrible call there.
I think that was the textbook definition of "unnecessary roughness"
You can't be serious.
Oh but I am. And I dislike the Cowboys.
If an offensive player comes off the ball the defensive player is allowed to engage him. That is what he did. It's football, not patty cake. He was just reacting to the offensive player thinking that the play had started. That happens all the time and that is the first time I've seen a flag call for it. Officiating has been awful tonight.

Anybody notice that it was Roy Williams who got burned on that DeSean Jackson almost-TD?

Barber is such a frigging beast.

I think Emmitt is probably right about how his running style = a short career, but man, he is so much fun to watch.

That barber td might've sunk me, I'd made up 27 points and then some, and now I'm behind again. Let's get the ball to LJ and TO, dagnabit!!!

It is the first time I remember seeing a defender put his hands on the linemans face and throw him to the ground by his helmet. It is a judgement call and I agree with the refs on that one.

MBIII hasn't looked good at all. Even on his route running.
How bout now?
To be fair, "run that way as fast as you can" is hardly a "route".
How much more can you expect from a running back?
Not saying it wasn't a great play, just not a great display of "route running".
He ran the correct route. He beat his man and got separation. He caught the pass for a TD.What more do you want from the guy?

His hands were on his shoulder pads. The ref didn't even call it as a blow to the head.
