Week 2 Game Thread - Philly at Dallas (2 Viewers)

He ran the correct route. He beat his man and got separation. He caught the pass for a TD.What more do you want from the guy?
A thousand bucks? It appears we are using the word "route" in different ways. That's OK, I will buy you a drink. Oh, you aren't here... in the spirit of sportsmanship I will drink it for you then!

Another horrible call there.
I think that was the textbook definition of "unnecessary roughness"
You can't be serious.
Oh but I am. And I dislike the Cowboys.
If an offensive player comes off the ball the defensive player is allowed to engage him. That is what he did. It's football, not patty cake. He was just reacting to the offensive player thinking that the play had started. That happens all the time and that is the first time I've seen a flag call for it. Officiating has been awful tonight.
It is the first time I remember seeing a defender put his hands on the linemans face and throw him to the ground by his helmet. It is a judgement call and I agree with the refs on that one.
His hands were on his shoulder pads. The ref didn't even call it as a blow to the head.
So the refs are right if it helps your point, but wrong about the judgment call? OK then....

How are you using it? I mean he did run the correct pattern right? He did sell the route right? He did beat his man right? He got separation? Made himself available to the QB? Caught the ball? Scored the TD?How did he not run a good route by your way of thinking??

Wait a minute...Sportsline shows Westy losing 4 yards...how can that be when he never had the ball on that bad handoff exchange between him and McNabb?

So was that a McNabb fumble? Yahoo and NFL.com have that as a westbrook fumble, - 11 Rush yds.. likely to be corrected or the right call?

Nothing against Rivers and Favre, but they have a long road ahead of them next Monday night to come close to this game.

MBIII hasn't looked good at all. Even on his route running.
How bout now?
To be fair, "run that way as fast as you can" is hardly a "route".
How much more can you expect from a running back?
Not saying it wasn't a great play, just not a great display of "route running".

that he's on his fantasy team instead of Felix Jones?

That barber td might've sunk me, I'd made up 27 points and then some, and now I'm behind again. Let's get the ball to LJ and TO, dagnabit!!!
Nobody cares even a little bit, guy. Check out the venting thread.
