4 mins agoDallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson (knee) is officially inactive for Week 2 against the New Orleans Saints. He had been listed as doubtful. The third-year tight end tested his injury in warmups, but it was quickly evident that he wouldn't be healthy enough to suit up on Sunday. Luke Schoonmaker will start at tight end in Ferguson's absence. He'll likely command some volume, but not enough to justify starting him in most fantasy football leagues this week. CeeDee Lamb is the only Dallas pass-catcher to start with confidence in Week 2, although Brandin Cooks is an intriguing FLEX play in deeper formats.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller

TEE HIGGINS NOT EXPECTED TO PLAY AGAINST CHIEFS
2 hours ago

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring) is expected to be inactive for Week 2 against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Higgins had been listed as doubtful and was trending toward missing his second consecutive game. His absence isn't official yet and won't be confirmed until 90 minutes before kickoff, but fantasy managers should still start making lineup adjustments and finding players to replace Higgins. Internally, Andrei Iosivas and Trenton Irwin are candidates for more volume, but neither of them should be deployed in typical 12-team leagues.

JOSH DOWNS OUT AGAIN IN WEEK 2

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs (ankle), who is dealing with a high-ankle sprain and was considered 50-50 to play in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers, has been ruled out on Sunday as caution prevails. Downs suffered the high-ankle sprain in training camp in August and also was inactive for the season-opening loss to the division-rival Houston Texans. The good news, though, is that he was able to practice in full on Friday, so perhaps he'll be ready to make his season debut in Week 3 against the Chicago Bears. With Downs out again, it makes both Alec Pierce, who went over 100 yards and a touchdown in Week 1, and rookie Adonai Mitchell a little more attractive as flex plays in deeper fantasy leagues at Lambeau Field. But when Downs does make his way back, he could eventually settle into the WR2 role in Indy behind Michael Pittman Jr.

AJ Brown downgraded to out per Rapoport

Yep, saw it on my Fantasy Pros text app
Tell me more about this... they'll send you updates? Cost?
I bought the mid-level package for around $50. Everything syncs with my Yahoo and MFL teams, from pre-draft to the end of season. All apps sync. I actually drafted via my own custom cheatsheet right from their site. Was awesome. I get continuous updates throughout each day regarding my team and the NFL in general with injuries. I really like it.

per @JayGlazer Keenan Allen doubtful. New team but past experiences with Keenan says bench unless you have no other option

I didn't see JJ limping in the shot they just showed of him walking into the locker room. Are we sure he was limping at all? The way he was being helped off initially made me think concussion

Def was limping and needed help off the field.
I saw them helping him off but it looked like it could have been a woozy head.

Guess we just wait now for bad news, worse news, or disastrous news.

Pacheco limped off late in the game after his leg got bent awkwardly and hasn’t come back in.

Football Night in America reported that he's "having his ankle looked at" (FWIW)
There was some speculation in the Pacheco thread about the source of info on him... the above was reported during the pre-game. It was updated by the same reporter (Florio) at halftime last night that they were going to focus on the fibula (today) in further testing.

Just saw on the "ticker" while watching Get Up that Justin Hebert has a leg injury getting further evaluated today.
