I like Foster in redrafts this year, i had him 6 or 7 last week. I just dont like him that much this week in Washington.

Yep, Buffalo is going to be playing catchup for most of this game. Normally i would say thats a bad thing for a RB, but with captain checkdown at the helm, that should mean Spiller could catch for almost 100 yards.Bush played more snaps than Thomas last week, plus the Saints barely run.Stewart barely played last week, i want to see more from him before i put him too high in my rankings.I just dont like Hightower, not do i like his matchup.Ronnie Brown in Minnesota, no thanks.

Cedric Benson didn't even crack the top 30? He's the Bengals feature back and put up great #s vs. the Ravens last year.
I was between him, Hightower and Portis for the last spot, i just dont see Benson doing anything against the Ravens in Baltimore.

I'm a Redskins fan and I love our D, but Dallas ran it really well against us last week. Dallas' problem was that they didn't just stick with the run; otherwise, it would have been a huge day rushing for them. Washington's D is definitely the strength of that team but I'd be shocked if Foster didn't get a 100 yards and a score (as much as I'll be rooting against it! :-))

17. Jerome Harrison

Last year against KC he was a stud, only problem is no one with a half a freaking clue in Cleveland knows this guy can beat KC all by his lonesome.

34 carries for 286 yards, three touchdowns (including one to win the game). No wonder Cleveland is a doormat.

That's what I see. Houston has too many weapons and Foster is an upgrade in the running game over Dallas.

I watched this game last year, and i actually wanted to put him higher on this list. Like you said though, who knows how Clevelend will use him. Either way, he should have 100 total yards, with a decent chance at a TD.

Foster would likely be the 4th string RB on that roster.

Chiefs are better on defense this year. Romeo Crennel has a clue, unlike Clancy Pendergast. Glenn Dorsey is turning into the beast he was drafted to be. Derrick Johnson, Javon Belcher bring the wood.

He's a nice back but he won't get half that many carries this week and probably not 1/3rd of the yardage.

I understand the simple connection, but it's a different year and both teams are different.

:goodposting: I noticed him missing from this list. I'd start him over 2nd stringers like Bush, Forsett, and Spiller all day, every day. Benson is a stud. He definitely should have expectations lowered this week but he's still around 15-20 range.

Gore is too high IMO. The 9ers are clueless and the Saints aren't too bad on defense. They have an aggressive front and will almost certainly be up by 10-14 points early. The 9ers simply won't be able to run all that often, even though they never seem to even if they're ahead.

Gore does have the talent to break off a big play, but I'm not buying him anywhere near 4th for the week.

Why is Deangelo so high? I've seen him very high on a few lists this week. I thought he looked pretty good last week, but not good enough to warrant a top 3 finish this week. What am I missing?

Based on the many 200yd rushing performances all 3 of those backs have put up in their entire careers right?
If Felix Jones got 30 carries against the Colts last week(without Sanders), he would have ran for 400 yards.

All well and good if he didn't tear his acl before the 5th carry.

He is no more likely to tear his ACL than any other RB. I get your point though, that doesnt change the fact that Jones in more talented than Foster.

He definitely has the talent to do it, he has a very good oline, a great matchup at home, and it is my belief that the Panthers are going to ride him into the ground this season before letting him walk at seasons end.Whats not to like?

I like the 49ers to keep this game close at home, and they will do it by controlling the ball on the ground.

no he wouldnt. people need to get over felix jones.

My Bold prediction? Jerome Harrison fails to crack 50 yards against the Chiefs Defense.
The only way this happens is if he doesnt get the touches. He should get at least 10 though, which means he will go over 50.
Thats why its bold. I just think the Chiefs defense will be the most improved this year.
Derrick Johnson was a beast out there Monday, but they are a different team on the road.
