Rivers is available in a few leagues, just like Royal. Everyone thought last week was just a fluke as far as the TDs and just remember the late game collapse.Surely nobody left him sitting there after a 4 td game last week.Philip Rivers?
10 Team, etc. farm boy, shut the #### upis he really on waivers in some leagues?aggie_dave said:Perhaps Moreno???
Fleener is actually available in my league where I drafted Fred Davis, dropped Davis this week for Celek, and now plan on dropping Celek. My target is probably Clay or Fleener, Im leaning Fleener.donkshow said:I have Dwayne Allen and Ed Dickson. I'm going all in on Charles Clay in hopes to get some TE action. With Allen down and Fleener looking awesome today, he may be 2nd TE when he's back anyways.Clay Train Choo ChooBinky The Doormat said:yeah - run with Fred Davis - that chunk of #### is dead to me.donkshow said:Is anybody that is weak at TE going all out for Charles Clay? 2 solid weeks in a row with a running game that has looked mediocre at best.
+1 He had the best running stats in the preseason of all the runningbacks. Hardly anybody knows of him...but he does seem to have big games at least in the preseason and the preseason before that. I believe he is 22 years old and can catch the ball out of the backfield.Jordan Todman - If MJD's sprain costs him time, might be worth a flyer. Didn't do much with the carries he come on in relief, but had a very strong pre-season and maybe with a week of game planning might be much more productive.
He plays for the Jaguars? He's playing the Seahawks this week? Maybe for the longer future, but he'd be on my bench to play the Seahawks.Jordan Todman - If MJD's sprain costs him time, might be worth a flyer. Doubtful.James Starks just took Lacys job. Even if Lacy is 100% healthy it's a 60-40 split favoring Starks.

Lacy goes back to the feature back the moment he's healthy, which could be next game.Doubtful.James Starks just took Lacys job. Even if Lacy is 100% healthy it's a 60-40 split favoring Starks.

Great pickup if Lacy misses time...but the carries will not likely favor Starks for more than one game if even that.
The bolded is key. Last year McCoy was out quite a bit with a concussion. If I owned Lacy (I don't) I would pick up Starks just to cover any concussion problems - either from this hit or possibly later in the year. Count me as one who doesn't think Starks is a threat to Lacy if Lacy is healthy - but concussions scare me.As a Lacy owner, I'm not concerned about Lacy losing his job to Starks, but I'm hoping some news comes out regarding the severity of his concussion by tomorrow night to decide if I should put in a bid on Starks for the mean time. For the people that watched the game, you saw how wide open his running lanes were. Every RB in the league is going to torch the Redskins this year.
For me Pierce>>>>>>Starks. Starks played one of the worst defenses in the league and ran well but he has no real role once Lacy returns. We saw what he could do last year and it wasn't much which led them to get Lacy/Franklin. Pierce has talent and with Rice appearing slowed and now injured he has a role in the offense and if Rice is out for any length of time he's likely a borderline RB1 in some matchups.Who would be a better ww pickup? Pierce or Starks? Feels like Pierce might have more week to week value. ...
He is in my 3-team league.is he really on waivers in some leagues?aggie_dave said:Perhaps Moreno???
I drafted him also. (well autodraft picked him for me when my computer froze).Binky The Doormat said:Same for that fat ******* Bullock, he better finish this game off by making this FG, he has cost me all day. They need to drop him like the lukewarm cow patty he is.
I agree. and you cant deny what starks did. If he repeats, there is no doubt you wont be able to pick him up. right now, the world is skeptical because lots of people think Starks sucks.Flying Eagle said:RB's with concussions scare the heck outta me.ratbast said:I would jump on the Lacey owner now. Do any of you really care if Starks is good? He is glass, use that to rob the Lacy owner!
Ellington I might take a flyer on, as you say, but I'll pass on Tanner. Dunbar is the Dallas backup I would be targeting.Andre Ellington could be worth a flyer.
Phillip Tanner could be worth one also, unless you think dm is gonna last. This is more of a hunch though

I would go with Clay unless Allen's injury will keep him out for a long time. I dropped Fleener before I knew Allen was going to be out. Had I know Allen was going to be out, I would have kept him for another week. Once Allen return's Fleener's productivity is likely to be very inconsistent. Clay has so far been more consistent and I would think he is more likely to continue that since Dustin Keller is out for the year.Kenny Powers said:Fleener is actually available in my league where I drafted Fred Davis, dropped Davis this week for Celek, and now plan on dropping Celek. Chances this isn't a mirage? I'm desparate for a TE.Yep.Charles Clay-- 2 big games in a row
That sounds like a preemptive strike on your own roster - got to be something with more value than that.Preemptive strike with QB Glennon or QB Cassel?
Glennon has upside value for Dynasty, but I would be looking elsewhere for value this season. That sounds like a preemptive strike on your own roster - got to be something with more value than that.Preemptive strike with QB Glennon or QB Cassel?
Mathews is their traditional 2 down back, w/ GL and short yardage. They don't trust him is PB and his ball control is an issue. (15 touches a game is his average.) Woodhead is in for 2-minute O and a lot of spread, but he is usually running patterns if he's in. Brown is in for all other pass plays and he's usually only used as a blocker when he's in with the occasional draw or dump-off.What do you guys think about the SD RB situation
Woodhead is out there but he did nothing week 1. Does anyone know if he will be the pass catcher going forward. PPR leagues, he could be a nice add if he is the guy
He had a very nice game vs Philly, I think that's what people were expecting or hoping from him as opposed to Game 1.What do you guys think about the SD RB situation

That's the WW RB i've had my eye on right now granted it's entirely speculative at this point. reports say he's jumped the queue to #2 and is considered to be an all-round back as opposed to a 3rd down back by his staff. Dont know how much upside he has but RB's are few and far between. It looks like Ellington has moved into the #2 role in AZ - Perhaps worth a flyer in deeper leagues?
i picked up phillip tanner over him ...um i figured it was only a matter of time till dm gets banged up, and dunbar is nothing outstanding..Thanks guys. Appreciate it
And I dropped Ellington last week to pick up L Washington![]()
that's what I'm considering right now... picked up Bolden last week, but the Patriots being notoriously opaque with their injury updates, i have no idea of he's expected to dress anytime soon after his injury.Would you guys think about dropping Bolden for Ellington? I know Ellington is #2 now and could be good in a PPR, but I feel like Bolden has the same potential.
Yeah that's probably a good point. I just think Bolden would do well in that offense if Ridley continued to struggle. But Mendenhall isn't exactly a picture of health so Ellington could have a shot there too.that's what I'm considering right now... picked up Bolden last week, but the Patriots being notoriously opaque with their injury updates, i have no idea of he's expected to dress anytime soon after his injury.Would you guys think about dropping Bolden for Ellington? My thinking though, is that if the two have similar potential, perhaps it's wiser to go with the one that's doesnt have a bum knee?
