Very quietly Brandon Coleman played 89% of the Saints snaps to just 65% for Ginn. Went 4-84 with a TD.
I know Snead is coming back, but Coleman looks like he can fill a big slot receiver role that Drew Brees made pretty productive over the years. Brees seems frustrated with Ginn. Wouldn't be that big of a shock if Ginn is reduced to deep threat when Snead returns with Coleman maintaining his slot role.

I agree - I like Coleman as a claim this week too.
Saints run a lot of 3-wide sets and I can't see Ginn & his ham hands keeping the job over the more reliable Coleman.
But then this is Payton we're talking about.

I did exactly this move in my biggest league a couple days back.
Higgins is my WR4 (in a start 3WR league). It doesn't matter if Matthews turns into the #1 on the Bills. At least for now, he just isn't getting any targets. Plus the Bills are a run first team, and Cleveland will likely have to chuck it to stay competitive.
I was just never going to be comfortable starting Matthews anyway, so for me it was an easy switch.

I want to be a buyer on JJ judging by his propensity of finding pay dirt but I can't drop Decker just yet.
People are still sleeping on Tyler Lockett. You can still get him cheap this week. IMO, but his value is only going up and this may be the last week you will see him in the bargain bin.
The Seahawks coaching staff really like him and he is going to be a bigger and bigger part of the offense going forward. Last year, he played through a torn PCL most of the year but then when he finally did get healthy late in the year he was on a tear (no pun intended) which of course ended when he broke his leg. I'm not sure he is 100% recovered yet but he is close. He is healthier now than most of last season. After playing limited snaps Week #1 (where he should have a had long TD if Russell didn't overthrow him) , he played as the clear #2 receiver in Week#2. He led the Seahawks in targets and catches and out snapped Richardson by a good margin. Graham already is banged up, so really Lockett is the #2 receiving threat in the Seattle offense going forward.
The Seahawks offense clearly has struggled mightily so far due to their OL play but it will slowly get better just like it did last year. Lockett is the Seahawks deep ball threat and he also sees a lot of volume in shorter routes. In all likelihood, he also will start to be used in the running game again very soon.
I really wouldn't be surprised if he leads the Seahawks receivers in Yards from scrimmage this year.
He really could become this year's Tyreek Hill. They are similar players.
Consider his stats from week 13 -16 last year, which is when his role in Seattle's offense really took off.
Week 13 - 5 catches 63 yards, 1 rush 75 yards TD
Week 14 - 4 catches 41 yards, 2 rushes 15 yards
Week 15 - 7 catches 130 yards, 1TD
Week 16 - he broke his leg but before he did he had 2 catches for 38 yards in less than a half and was taken down just before the endzone on the play he broke his leg on.

He looked way better as well. I missed on that one big time. I knew Williams would get his shot, he did...and sucked. Johnson still has some in the tank. I'd put CJ over everyone except Carson for waiver RBs. (Not Henry of course)

I haven't been in a league with lots of trading in about a half decade. I like waiver action anyway.
10 team league. Only 140 total players.
Owners can start two quarterbacks each week. This is why the league has only 10 teams. McCown and Kizer are the best available quarterbacks. With 12 teams under our settings, there would be no actual starting quarterbacks available to add.

Yeah, I thought Williams would be able to hold off CJ since it was his first game back but Williams just isn't good enough. I agree, assuming Henry, Allen and Carson aren't available he should be the priority RB FA add. A good majority of the work Williams saw will go straight to CJ, he was that much better. I expect BA to name CJ the starter later this week.
I wouldn't go crazy on him but the volume will be there.

I wouldn't go this high but if you really want him 25%. Personally I would spend less and go after Engram, Watson or ASJ if they are available.

Waivers just ran and I got Derrick Henry for 45% of my remaining FAAB. No one else put in a bid. No one else.

Do you think no one thought he was free? Did anyone else put in any FAAB bids? I would have expected almost everyone to put in a bid and I would think that 45% might have been low. Thats a great addition to your team even if you dont need him!

I could have had him for free last week but with my league being PPR, I wanted to hold onto Powell. Dumb. I thought maybe 45% was a little overkill but after his performance last week and the news that DeMarco is a little gimpy, I expected some movement given how lean RBs are in the first place. JJ Nelson went for 20% of someone's budget and the next highest bid was for 5%. Either my league is almost all new at FAAB or are all waiting for the next David Johnson to appear.

To be honest, Allen is a marginal talent and would have shown more by now at this point in his career if he wasn't. I would rather have Carson, redraft or dynasty.

50/50 for me. PPR is a huge bump for Allen but Carson is more talented. Problem with him is how awful their o-line is. Also, we've been down this road with Carroll and RBs before. For all we know, Carson will be averaging 2 carries in the latter weeks.

I agree with you about Seattle and Carroll, so in redraft I would have it closer, but I would still favor Carson because I believe he will seize the job. In dynasty it is a no-brainer, it's Carson.

Seattles offense is horrible. Carson is still competing with Rawls & Prosise. Allen has almost nobody to compete with (West at best) and catches tons of passes. Its not all about talent. I want both but Allen is more valuable right now.

Collins is in the mix too,and when Woodhead gets back Allen loses a lot of his value. For now Allen,but in the long run, Carson. Carroll will start Carson,he's their best RB. Rawls looks horrible,and even the players on Seattle wanted Carson in at RB. Seattle's offense started poorly last year and then turned things around.

Isnt Woodhead out for another 6-8 weeks? Carson is a must own of course but his situation is not exactly perfect with some other decent RBs in the mix as well as a horrible run-blocking Oline.

U could be absolutely right about Lockett becoming the #2 and he is a great candidate to be picked up (fwiw, not available in most of my leagues). However it is worth noting what the snap & target counts were in week1 AND that Richardson broke his finger on the opening drive (bone thru skin) requiring stitches and that had a lot to do with his reduced snaps and the increase for Lockett.
Lockett might well move ahead of Richardson going forward, particularly now that Richardson has a broken finger but Richardson did come back and catch the winning td so I think the situation is still murky at this point. My guess is they both will continue to hurt each others value going forward but for now i still have Richardson as the 2a and Lockett the 2b.

I like Carson, but I wouldn't dump Cohen for him in a PPR. Find someone else to cut ... surely there's another cut option.

I might do it next week but it is premature at this point. West being banged up is a positive but we'll have to wait and see what Collins does with more playing time. Carson does have other guys hanging around and if he goes cold one game he could easily be replaced for a hot hand.

I did, but he's deep end of the bench and am already debating dropping him for one of the guys that got dropped during waivers-Rawls, Prosise and J. Hill all got dropped.

Yeah hyperextended his knee. Weird situation with him ... I feel like he's playing the old Michael Floyd role outside, but he's also 27 already and hasn't done much of anything in the league to this point. If he's fully healthy, he's kinda interesting, but if he's hurt ...
And the Seahawks' #2 WR hasn't been fantasy relevant for several years. Under 7 FPPG (standard scoring) for the last 4 seasons.
