I don't think either team has officially placed them on IR yet.yahoo is taking forever to IR Jefferson and Achane which is holding up my ability to make moves

I wouldn't drop Dell for him. Rice is on the upswing, but there are still a lot of mouths to feed among the WRs and Reid has often been reticent to put too much on a rookie WR's plate. Dell is concussed but he is also on the upswing, Stroud is balling out, and there is a much narrower target tree on the Texans.Would anyone drop Tank Dell for him in a ten team?Rashee Rice is on my WW. I think I’m going to go for him as I just lost JJ and to me it looks like he might be the one that’s going to rise to the top out of those Chiefs WRs, in what is an O that will continue to put up points. 5+ targets in all but one game this season, 7 in the last game
His snap count actually went down this week. That said, I heard today he’s being targeting on 34.2% of his routes. Only Tyreek Hill is being targeted on a higher % of routes run.

Understood, but neither of them are officially out either. The team knows this and we know this, but there's nothing official yet according to the NFL process.I don't think either team has officially placed them on IR yet.yahoo is taking forever to IR Jefferson and Achane which is holding up my ability to make moves
They should be switched to 'out' though and then they can go on IR. Still sitting at doubtful. I was able to IR Jefferson in sleeper
I don’t think the teams have officially put them on IR. If you read the news article they all state “plan to place Jefferson on IR”.yahoo is taking forever to IR Jefferson and Achane which is holding up my ability to make moves
Your point is that the majority are sheep & following, as Ingram was added in only 4,400+ leagues. We all agree the dissemination of information is what we're all reacting to. But players like Demercado & Osborn are of interest here, whether the talking heads sound the alarm or not. In fact, I would argue that if they were telling us to ignore Demercado & add Ingram instead, the disparity in adds wouldn't be as great, but would still favor Demercado. That's separate from which move proves right or wrong.I would not trust these league statistics. Plus, only a small percentage of people into FF are anywhere as serious as average member of a forum like this so the roster management decisions of this great body of leagues is mostly irrelevant anyway.
Good move.Picked up J Wilson Jr for Kelley in redraft.
Your point is that the majority are sheep
Yes for both. I'd go Q first.would you guys add Q Johnston or J Downs and drop J Reed?
This. Most people wake up, get coffee and reflect on ways to improve themselves. I wake up, start coffee, and look at football updates while its brewing.Your point is that the majority are sheep
My point is that 99%+ of people that participate in FF are unsophisticated when it comes to understanding effective strategies and tactics.
I'm hearing a lot of big bids like that. I imagine in a 14-team league, the pickings are particularly slim, so anyone with any kind of promise is going to be aggressively pursued.Demercado went for $40 FAAB in my 14-teamer.![]()
Donta went for $19 in mine. I picked up Demercado last week out of pure desperation (Barkley, ekeler and Walker were out/off). In larger leagues with moderately deep benches there isn’t much value in hoarding FAAB. I put $80 on Derwin James after he was dropped ($200 FAAB)Demercado went for $40 FAAB in my 14-teamer.![]()
I bid a lot more than that LMAODemercado went for $40 FAAB in my 14-teamer.![]()
What If his total $$ is just $100?, then it's 40% of FAAB.I bid a lot more than that LMAODemercado went for $40 FAAB in my 14-teamer.![]()

Just here to point out that Sproles also had some really productive years with San Diego and Philly.I've been picking up Demercado the last few weeks and made sure to get him on my two Conner teams. Was not about believing in Demercado, was about it being a matter of time until Conner missed time along with Ingram playing like butt.
So he's for sure the RB I'd rather have but I sure don't want to go putting him in a starting lineup this week and no I would not be surprised if Ingram took on most of the early down role and Demercado's role only say an uptick. Just know he's a guy I'd rather put on my roster if I can and see how it shakes out.
Rondale Moore's could be a sneaky good FA pickup. Granted it's not a replacment for the role that Conner played but they might lean more into the growing Darren Sproles type of role they've been showing a little the last few weeks. Which happens to be a role I thought he was best suited for when he came into the league.Of course Sproles was never much in fantasy except when he was paired with Brees/Payton, but worth a shot if you got a spot and need a WR.

I actually picked him up LAST WEEK on my main sixteen team league, but I went Bananas this week trying to get him on every other team. I liked him before Connor was out. POSSIBLY a league winner type impact imo.I still bid a lot moreWhat If his total $$ is just $100?, then it's 40% of FAAB.I bid a lot more than that LMAODemercado went for $40 FAAB in my 14-teamer.![]()

I picked up Mims last week for that very reason. He is an exciting player. Since I have vey good wrs picking up a middle of the road player will do me no good. I need backups with some serious upside or they are of no use to me. If the trade deadline comes and goes without a trade then he goes back to the WW.I read this morning on CBS that there is a scenario where Denver moves both Jeudy & Sutton before the deadline. If so, assuming they bring in middling receivers in exchange, does Mims represent a decent upside preemptive pickup? The likelihood of such a move for Denver I assume is low, so my question is predecated on the long-shot possiblity that it happens.
Im sure the head coach ran as fast as he could to the social media department to tell them Ingram is the starter (Pro tip he didn't and the depth chart means jack).
great question. imo situations that help Mims the most, in order, areLet's say that only one of Jeudy or Sutton is traded by Denver - where does Mims then rank ROS? And what if both are traded - does that help or hurt Mims?
don't forget about dulcich. prolly a sneaky pickup in any of these scenariosgreat question. imo situations that help Mims the most, in order, areLet's say that only one of Jeudy or Sutton is traded by Denver - where does Mims then rank ROS? And what if both are traded - does that help or hurt Mims?
jeudy gets traded, sutton+mims dominate targets
sutton gets traded, jeudy dominate targets and mims a clear 2
both get traded, there isn't enough bodies underneath so mims see more targets but not quality targets
neither gets traded, sutton+jeudy continue to dominate targets and Mims remain irrelevant for most games
Downs likely to be a target hog in ppr leagues.would you guys add Q Johnston or J Downs and drop J Reed?
Yes, there is strong speculation that Denver is going to blow it up. Of course Payton has said publicly that they are not considering any such thing. I think Frank Clark is very likely to be dealt. Beyond that everything is just speculation. But speculation around Jeudy especially has been strong since Spring.Dulcich is a fantastic speculative pickup right now considering the TE landscape.
BTW, I’m behind on this, but what’s the impetus behind moving Jeudy &/or Sutton? I’m assuming it’s because Jeudy is set to be a FA, but what about Sutton? I know Mims has upside, but that’s a decent amount of talent to lose.
Is Denver going to blow it up?
Speculative adds for later, with just about all of them needing injury to the starters ahead of them to be relevant. These are longshots for deep leagues but guys I can see producing if forced into significant snaps:For the first time this season I did not participate in the waiver wire
Here is how it unrolled tonight
Matthew Stafford QB LAR
Zach Charbonnet RB SEA
Emari Demercado RB ARI- Who the bleep is this? I have never heard of this guy, never can remember him in college or coming into the NFL
Pittsburgh Steelers D/ST
Jonnu Smith TE ATL
Antonio Gibson RB WAS
Quentin Johnston WR LAC
K.J. Osborn WR MIN
Just nothing to get thrilled about, I'm trying to figure out who might be a hot waiver pick up in the coming 2-3 weeks and try to find them now before everyone discovers them
Got any of those?

Didn't they pick up his 5th year option? Not sure how that would work in any trade though, or if it would have any impact.Dulcich is a fantastic speculative pickup right now considering the TE landscape.

My pleasure. I must stress that none of these are recommended pickups for shallow leagues just yet, but at least a few of them will cause intense bidding wars if they get their chance. That's awesome, thank you so muchSpeculative adds for later, with just about all of them needing injury to the starters ahead of them to be relevant.
