Week 7 2025 who should I start thread **OFFICIALLY UNOFFICIAL** (1 Viewer)

PPR
Need 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE and flex (can be RB/WR/TE)

McCaffrey (locked in) vs Atlanta
Marks at Seattle
Rice (locked in) vs Las Vegas
AJ Brown at Minnesota
McMillan at NY Jets
Jam Williams vs Tampa Bay
J Ferguson vs Washington
Fannin vs Miami

Right now I have Cmac, Rice, AJ Brown, Tmac, and Ferguson in line up

Thanks in advance.

Standard scoring and PPR

Started Jaylen Warren and happy with the performance.

Now I need to select between the following:

Zonovan Bam Knight
Jordan Mason
Tony Polloard
Tyjae Spears
Kendre Miller

Mostly it's Knight v Mason v Pollard?

Thank you

Trade question: Potential trade Pickens and Dowdle high trade.

I GET: R. Rice, K. Walker, J. Addison
I GIVE: G. Pickens, R. Dowdle.

SEA staff indicating they may want to give Walker more touches. It's arguable if Dowdle is the better RB the rest of season. I do have Charbs though.

Same goes for Rice vs. Pickens, but if Rice picks up where he left off last season he could be a top 4 WR ROS. Addison is a nice throw in.

Would give me:

* RB: K. Walker, C. Brown, J. Mason (R. Harvey, K. Miller, Z. Charbs, M. Carter, B. Knight)
* WR: N. Collins, R. Rice, T. McMillan, T. Higgins, J. Addison

Do it?

OR stand pat?

Thanks

Accept before he reconsiders.

Rice > Pickens, or equal at the worst.

Walker>Dowdle. I think Dowdle has earned a role and maybe even most of the touches, but Hubbard will see SOME work. Walker is better than Charbs and the coaching staff surely has to see that given the last week's performance. I just have more faith in Walker than Dowdle.

And then Addison is basically free.

Thanks in advance.

QB start/should I trade question.

12 Team, full PPR, start 1 QB, 6 point passing TD

Kyler vs GB
Lawrence vs LAR

Trade for Fields vs Carolina (but Wilson obviously injured).

Trade is Jordan Mason for Fields.

Other RB's are Bijan/Walker/ETN/Dowdle

12-team PPR. Keenan vs Indy or Jamo vs TB? Could also start both and sit Etienne vs LAR.

14-team 0.5 PPR. There are suddenly whispers that Egbuka could play, but I suspect we won’t know for sure by the time games kick off tomorrow, so very risky to count on him. Assuming I sit him, my choices are Pacheco vs LV or Bourne vs ATL. Kittle is back but Pearsall is out and Jennings is banged up, so who knows what KB’s target share will be?

1st one: Keenan Allen

2nd one: I don't think you can risk it on Egbuka. I think I lean Pacheco. Bourne has been good but with Kittle back, it'll be tougher.

I have to start one of the following in a 10 team 0.5 PPR league

WR Evans at DET
RB Dowdle at NYJ
WR Bourne vs ATL

Evans would be my first choice and although the report today was promising it is still listed as a gametime decision for Monday. Being a Monday game makes it a potential zero which is very risky but his ceiling is definitely the highest against the depleted Lions secondary and most likely no Egbuka to siphon targets.

Dowdle now has to contend with Hubbard back. Coach is not saying how either will be used. My guess is around 50-50 but who gets goalline carries and now playing Jets defense (much better than MIA and DAL).

Bourne is starting as Pearsall still out. Jones is still QB so their is the good connection. Little worried about the ATL pass defense and now Kittle back as well.

I think I have to go Bourne but would like others thoughts.

Non-ppr, driving myself nuts with this one

Dowdle (assuming Hubbard plays as it looks like he will) @ Jets
Or
BTJ vs Rams

BTJ seems to be ascending but Dowdle is capable of a huge game if things break right.

Wow. Interesting. Didn't think I'd get that response.

Definitely think Rice will be a more stable option vs. Pickens and have as much upside. KC offense is just now getting it together.

Walker better than Dowdle? Hmmm. Think it's close. I'd give a slight edge to Dowdle.

One bummer is I go from Dowdle this week in a smash matchup vs. Walker against HOU front seven. Ugh. And Walker's bye week is next week.

Need a WR with Pearsall and Wilson out.

Tez Johnson @ Det
Luke McCaffey @ DAL
Chris Moore @ DAL

Thoughts? (Your Rico Dowdle advice 3 weeks ago was amazing).

I need two flex players in a PPR:

Rico @ NYJ
Etienne v LAR (London)
Jameson v TB

I'm flip-flopping a lot. ATM I am thinking with the Lions down three starters in the defensive backfield that could be a high scoring game so maybe Jameson is the right move. But, I am struggling on this one (coin flip).

I like Rico & Jameson. Rams have been pretty good against the run and Lawrence will probably be playing catchup IMO. Detroit/TB game has high scoring shoot out potential so Jameson should be busy. Jets allowing 10th most Rushing yards/game. the sixth-highest yards after contact per attempt.

what do you think of mine:
NEED 2 / PPR:

Diggs @ Tenn
Pittman @ LAC
Worthy vs LV
Jeudy vs Mia
Sterling Shepard @ Det

And

Standard league:

Mac Jones vs Atl
or
Trevor Lawrence vs LAR
or
Wentz vs Philly

Thanks Chaka!!

Second league and I have all kinds of issues.
PPR:

Caleb v NO
Darnold v Hou

I hate relying on weather but, on top of rain the wind in Chi is predicted to be "Northwest wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph"

Same PPR league, I have two flex spots to fill:

Rico @ NYJ
Chuba @ NYJ
Jameson v TB
Hollywood v LVR
Tutu v JAX (London)

I know with Rice coming back I should probably fade Hollywood.

Tutu probably shouldn't be a strong consideration but, with Puka out he should at least be in the conversation.

No idea how to choose between Rico & Chuba.

Detroit is down three starters in the secondary so, maybe a high scoring game in Detroit.

But, really no idea

Bro ... lol. You've got some interesting start sits.

I'm a Caleb slappy, but the there could be weather there, and not a ton of passing needed. I lean Darnold here. Some people are afraid of the HOU defense, im not one of them. Darnold is PFF's highest rated QB for a reason, im gonna roll with him, at home. That game should at least call for my passing attempts.

Your other 2 flex spots? If it were my team? I'd go with Jamo and Rico.

Thanks in advance. Standard scoring + PPR.

W/ Kittle off IR and expected to play with no restrictions based on the below, if I want to start him, who then becomes the odd man out?

  • Current starting TE: Warren
  • Current starting RB's: Judkins & Javonte Williams (I also roster Derrick Henry - bye)
  • Current stating WR's: JSN & Sutton (I also roster Puca - out)
  • Current slotted Flex x2 = Etienne & Quentin Johnson

Lots to digest but what to do here?
if I want to play Kittle, who is the odd man out and what manipulation do I make?
If Puca was playing I'd start him and this would be a bit more of a puzzle ha ha.

On a separate note (and to a lessor degree of importance), I roster Herberet, Darnold and Fields. Currently have Herbert slotted in at QB but could any argument to consider the others?

Thank You

Uhm.

I think you're good with your current thoughts. If I were to do anything? I'd consider Kittle over Quinton, or Sutton. BUT, id also be very OK with benching Kittle for a week to see how it goes

.5 PPR

Final Flex

TreyVeon Henderson @ TEN
Travis Hunter v LAR (in London)
Tre Tucker @ KC
Jordan Whittington v JAX (London)

I'd still expect Dowdle to get the majority of the work this week, or at least 50/50, and the Jets D is poor, and their O is worse, so Panthers shouldn't need to chase points.

Etienne has tougher sledding against the Rams, but should still get strong volume.

Jameson will always be boom-bust due to his role. Even with a long TD he still might not out score the other 2. I'd sit Jamo

I think Henderson. It's Henderson vs Whittington IMO. And Henderson gets TEN who gives up the 4th most FPPG to RB's. Rhamondre has been horribly inefficient in addition to the fumbling woes. Gibson is gone. Feels like Henderson is going to get more and more work. And he's just more assured touches than Whittington.

Full PPR:

Start 4 or Sit 2:

Dowdle vs NYJ
Walker vs Hou
ETN vs LAR
Mason vs Philly
E. Wilson vs Arizona (assuming Jacobs is out)

Jordan Mason v. PHI
LaPorta v. TB

6 pts for TDs (7 pts for TEs)
PPR (bonus pts for TEs with 7 receptions)
Bonus pts for 100 yards rush/recpt (90 yards for TEs)

thx

Mason.

Philly gives up the 8th most FPPG to RB's, including 8 TD's to RB's. Mason will get sure fire volume. I guess anything can happen score/game script wise. But the MIN defense is stout, and Cashman is coming back from injury. I think MIN is in the game and able to run the ball plenty in this one.

In a 0.5 PPR league one of the following TE

Fannin vs MIA
Ertz at DAL

Njoku is out which bumps Fannin, Mia is good matchup but weather may be an issue (although maybe not as much for te vs wr)
Ertz gets Dallas defense and WAS is down top 3 wrs. WAS may just want to run it all day

It's a coin flip.

Checking 4 websites for rankings, 2 half Ertz higher, 2 have Fannin higher.

The Cowboys/Commands Points total O/U is at 54.5 and CLE/Mia is at 35. I'd rather have pieces of Dallas, WAS. Give me ERtz.

Thanks for the feedback. That is the way I have been leaning but as you said it’s a coin flip. Think l will stick with Ertz
