For me, it came down to MNF. I had a 13 point lead, and my Romo vs his Eli. Felt really good mid-way through the 1st quarter. Don't feel so good now

#1 in points allowed again, this week I faced Eli and McFadden. 3-4 with one of the best rosters in the league.

Was down 12 points going into MNF with Romo going. Quick TD and I was feeling good. Now

Off to the waiver wire to see if Freeman or Fitzpatrick can keep me afloat.

In my main $$ league i'm having the kind of year that makes you want to quit FF (ok, not really but it is frustrating). The average score for our league each week is 105 points. My team has scored an average of 109 over the first 6 weeks. It's not like it is a juggernaut, i'll give you that, but it's clearly not a bottom feeder either. Yet amazingly, my opponents have averaged 135 points this year! It's unreal, every week I face the team that goes off. Foster's monster week 1? Yep, faced him. Schaub's big week 2? You guessed it. Surely I didn't face Vick in week 3 when he lit it up? Um, yeah I did. Week 4 was the first week i didn't face a 40 player in our league's format, I merely faced 2 - 30 point players in Owens and Gates and then 3 more 20+ point players giving my opponent 175 points. This week my opponent came with 4 players scoring 20+ and 2 more hitting 15, 140 points and the high score for the week, of course. I've now faced the high scoring team 3 times and the 2nd high scoring team twice. Amazingly i'm 2-4 thanks to Best's monster week 2 and another fluke win. My points against are 812, only 1 team in our league has scored 700 points themselves (708) and no other team has 700 points against. It's a cruel joke, but i'm trying to be positive, it can't keep up right? This coming week my opponent has Peyton on a bye, DJax and Floyd likely out hurt and he already lost Finley. If he puts up 140+ on me I might just lose it. "Laughter and tears are both responses to frustration and exhaustion. That was last week's venting thread. So yeah, that guy I was playing, he started Ryan for Manning, Britt for DJax, and Steve Johnson for Floyd. Akers is his kicker. Long story short, his ####ign backups dropped 167 on me. This is truly unreal, i've never seen anything like this. He will be by FAR the highest scoring team this week and had almost none of his A team out there. 2-5 now and not looking promising for a playoff run.

Also, here is my next week's opponent. Start all of these guys with confidence this week:Orton, Ivory, Foster, Wayne, Mike Williams(TB), B.Marshall, B.Pettigrew, J.Reed, Pitt D/ST. You are welcome in advance.

Ahead by 20 points with my Romo and Bradshaw vs his Eli and Steve Smith.Needless to say, I lost... Also, I own Romo in about 5 or 6 different leagues, so my seasons are pretty much done.

I have now lost both division games by a combined 1.95 points. One of which was tied until a stat correction came up.

I am total points leader in all 3.

Records:

2-5,4-3,5-2

I'm not in first place in any divisions, let alone the league.

I have the most points scored AGAINST me in 2 out of the 3, and 2nd most in the league i'm 2-5 in.

This is by far the most frustrating fantasy football season I have had in 20 years. It's simply amazing how I run into ultra hot players every week, while scoring either 2nd or 3rd most points.
