Week 9 Venting Thread (1 Viewer)

2nd straight week of this BS.

Last week, I had Fitz vs Boldin -- Boldin goes off.

This week, I have TJ vs Ocho Cinco --- 85 goes off.

 
Yeah, this Jax/Cin game is causing me a lot of frustration. This week, I finally benched Ocho Stinko in my 14 team league and cut him in my 8 team league. That worked out well. Meanwhile, Maurice Jones-Drew continues to to be a pain in the butt. I should have learned from last year when I also had him in several leagues.

Meanwhile, in my pick 5 pool (where you pick five games straight up), I have TB, Jax, and Buf. Even worse, I have TB in my suicide pool for $1,000, which is down to 6 teams. Maybe I should just go outside and not watch football...

This is one of Chad's 2 big scoring games each year.

IMO it's never worth trying to guess which games they will be.

I know, but he at least could have done it in one of the previous 8 weeks when he was in my lineup...I can't fricken believe this TB/KC game. I was really hoping to win my suicide pool and thought I had a lot of good teams remaining (TB, Ten, Chi, NYG, Dal, Was, etc.) And even Chicago is losing, which is what I was hoping for. :goodposting:

Just gotta get this out.

McGahee and the Ravens suxor.

2 games this year active and no play.

Then I bench 85 and he catches 2 TDs against the Jags no doubt.

got sandbagged in 2 leagues with SJax. Benched Graham in both and he just THREW a td!!!

Playing one of the worst teams in our league. Derrick Mason and Donald Driver each dropped 21.5 on me (neither had scored more than 15 all season). Oh, did I mention I have Aaron Rodgers......scored 5 more points than Driver :hifive:

His QB was Marc Bulger-I have Donnie Avery

Westbrook isn't getting the ball, I've had start Jerramy Stevens 3 times (16 team league) for a combined 0 points, If Jets get 2 more yards along with a Bills tackle he loses 7 points ;)

I forgot...I also started Ryan Grant over Tim Hightower even though I made a post in ### Mgr. and everyone suggested Hightower....I'm an idiot.

I will likely lose this week b/c the stud QB/WR duo of my opponent, Frerotte & Mason smoked my QB/WR combo of Cutler & Marshall.... I love fantasy football....

Fell for the Michael Bennett is starting garbage. I'm desperate, really desperate for RBs, and between having LT off and losing McFadden and Maroney I've been left picking scraps off waivers. Have to start 2 in this league, no flex. Out of desperation this week added Kolby Smith and Bennett, and the kicker is to get Bennett I had to cut Ray Rice, who I obviously should have just kept. But also fell for the McGahee is starting BS, too, so figured a starter would help me more than part of a three headed monster. Gotta love misinformation. At least Kolby got me a TD before he got hurt, but him getting hurt figures, too. May actually still win since my WRs all teed off (Boldin, Driver and Bryant) and got a big game out of McNabb. But my RBs aren't making it easy.

The Koren Robinson 90 yard TD play (and Brad Johnson putting up zero) gave my opponent just enough to eek out a come from behind victory. :no:

My opponent was riddled with bye weeks. He started Matt Cassell, Tony Scheffler, Anthony Gonzalez, & Nate Washington. Hes about to beat me cuz Gonzalez decides to have his best game of the year and my team has the worst week Ive had all season with Schaub getting hurt, Marshall doing nothing, Curtis going out at the 1 yd line, and Addai & Clark doing absolutely nothing for me.

 
1. Joseph Addai would be the worst Round 1 pick ever, if I hadn't picked Rudi Johnson last year.

2. Does Kurt Warner have Boldin on HIS fantasy team? There is really no other explanation for why he targets Fitzgerald everywhere on the field except the freaking end zone.

3. Last week I played A. Bryant over Matt Jones. This week I played Matt Jones over Bryant. Well-played.

When does rotisserie baseball start?

 
My opponent are both 5-3. He is the 2nd lowest scoring team (luck of the draw) and I'm the highest scoring team (no luck of the draw). I average over 30 points more than him and it looks like I'm going to lose!!!

He has Driver and Mason go off...go figure

 
I started McGahee over S. Holmes, after flip flopping like John Kerry for days over it. Also, I have guessed wrong on Gonzo or Daniels starting at TE for 4 weeks in a row now...

 
What a damn nightmare of a week. Like many others, I had Chad Johnson light it up on my bench - started Randy Moss over him. Also had Dwayne Bowe on my bench. I also started Chad Pennington over Derek Anderson, the TEN defense over MIA defense (who knew), and Longwell over Carney ...

Oh, and my opponent has Brees as his primary starter - guess who his bye-week replacement was: Gus Frerotte

 
Win the RB position. Win the Receiver position. Get 20 points combined out of the kicker and Defense position. And still lose.

I hate fantasy football.

 
The Brandon Marshall "interference" call basically made me lose this week. What a total BS call and if I were Shanny he needs to be on the phone with the NFL for an explanation.

Lost by six to the cellar dweller in our league. Michael Jenkins stole both of my Roddy White TDs, Garrard had a #### performance against a weak defense and I opted to start Michael Bush to cover the Frank Gore BYE.

Been carrying Schaub on the bench since the draft for Brees' wk 9 bye .... Nice. Brandon Marshall .... nice call ref, did they get you from the World Series. And .... Benched Jacobs for Sjax last minute.

Lost to the worst team in the league. What makes it worse is I had been telling him so all year.

:wall: If I knew Rice was starting and playing the whole game I would easily have started Rice over Barber (I was looking for reasons to bench him this week at NYG) and won my game.Oh, and F David Garrard too!!!!! Week 3 I dropped Ryan for Garrard because I did not want to trust my Brees by week to a rookie. Oh well!! .........................

Pennington, Barber, and LandWhale combined for 1 ####### point, and I lose by 3. Is this supposed to be a joke?

Oh and Demeco Ryans had another spectacular game with 3 points. I can understand why he only had 3 tackles though, because they played the Vikings and it's not like they ever run the ball, right?

That offensive PI penalty against Brandon Marshall cost me 14 points. That destroyed me, along with Westbrook's lack of TDs... I want to defecate in the general direction of those refs... :banned:
