Yes! Basically what Genesis was when the Exodus developer (lambda) still supported Genesis. This is fantastic news, can not wait to get home from work and work on this.

How much success do you have with older shows on 1Channel or Genesis? Wife was trying to go back about 5 seasons in CSI and absolutely nothing would load.

The catalog is amazing.
One question, though - (with this add on or others) and I'm on OSMC - how can you have a list of shows, saw an entire season of some HGTV show on their add-on, and tell it to play each one in order, one right after the next? I wanted to have something on in the background while doing some things yesterday, and kept having to go back and "click" on the next show in the list. It should be something simple that I'm missing. I did a search, and found that "if you push 'c', you can tell it to 'play all in list' or something", but that option wasn't there.

On Exodus, the wife and I were playing around last night to see just how much of a back catalog it has. You can search by network, and we looked at Fox, and found "Cops" which we love having on in the background. We literally found season 1, episode 1 (like, the pilot episode).

Finding it wasn't the problem; every season was listed. Spending half an hour going through 15 different streams and not finding a working one was. New stuff plays just fine.

Exodus at least has an option that it will automatically keep trying streams until one works - so you don't have to keep clicking to find one that goes through.

As for shows, about the only ones I keep up with any more are Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead and Better Call Saul. Are those all available on Hulu or some other app?
Also, I need to connect to a VPN? I assume for identity protection? Tell me more about this VPN. Searched, but search still blows apparently.

All those are on AMC which you can get with Slingtv.
The only thing you really need a VPN for is if you are downloading copyrighted material via torrent etc. It's nice to have if for Kodi, but, not a necessity, imo. I also use it to spoof my IP address at NFL.com so I can get NFL ticket for $125. Plus it's just nice to have for as little as $3/month. You don't need a VPN to just cut cable legitimately.

Cool, thanks. And is there a particular service you guys use for VPN? We have one for work, but I am guessing I don't want to use that one.
I use PIA, Private Internet Access, for $40/year. Signup, pay and download at their site. Install the application and you're done, super simple. Just make sure to keep/write down your username and passwords. They have videos there on the website showing you how it works.

Yep, I have a PrivateInternetAccess client on my Mac where I torrent files. I don't run it on the router because I use sports-streaming services on my Kodi Amazon Fire boxes where using a VPN is prohibited. I route my files downloaded via VPN on the Mac to my Kodi boxes, which won't show to the outside world. I like the piece of mind knowing that what I do torrent on the Mac is shielded, and am OK with the rest of the boxes pulling files off of Kodi scrapers rolling without a VPN.

Officially cut the cord this weekend. Going from a monthly Cable/Internet/Phone bill of $190 down to $50 with higher speed internet than I had. Plus another $8 for Hulu Plus, which I'm not sure I'm going to keep. So about $130 extra dollars in my pocket a month.
I did buy an antenna, modem, and router....which all in cost me about $200.
So far couldn't be happier. It probably will lessen the amount of time I watch TV which was pretty minimal anyhow as there is less mindless channel surfing.

Congrats, my man. I tell you, once you do it, you just feel more intelligent.
I cut the cable about a month ago and literally laughed out loud when I saw an ad for a big cable tv package for "only" $124.99/month.".

The Egypt guy, Zahi Hawass, came to town last month for a presentation, and we tried to watch some of his old shows before we went. We had very poor results - we found a crapass reality show that followed him around while he did archaeology (don't worry, no manufactured drama there), but none of his Akhenaten/Nefertiti/Tut shows had working streams.

Exodus is marvelous. 1080P!!!!!!! Only tried a few links so far but everyone has worked. Super fast loading streams etc. Last night on 1Channel it took 4-5 streams before the new Walking Dead played. Tonight on Exodus first try and 1080P. Other than that it feels just like Genesis with all the streams working.
In addon installer, found it thanks. Gonna have to have someone remind me how to change the icons on the front screen now we have more/new choices for our favorites addons.

It really is awesome. It's nice to see that they have a real-debrid option too, but if I want that level of instant gratification and quality I'm fine VPN'ing files and streaming over the LAN as a plan B. Exodus as a plan A works just fine now from a simple convenience perspective, and will stay such until the scrapers tank out a la Genesis.

Installed Exodus tonight from Addon Installer and it's showing 11/22/63 for me in 720p with zero issues.

Last couple of months where Genesis went on life support were kind of rough. Not unbearable, but Genesis while still maintained was just great. So awesome this dev lambda came back good as ever with Exodus.

Watched two episodes during my treadmill workout Tuesday night, unplanned. The "gym" in the basement of my apartment complex has a big screen TV with all of the cable channels right in front of a treadmill, stair climber, stationary bike, and free weights. It's plenty adequate for a workout, and no one generally uses it so it's a nice perk. Well, elderly lady shows up just after me to use the bike, and since I have a semblance of a soul and have music/headphones, I yield the TV. With every cable channel available in the 7PM slot, we landed on 2x Andy Griffith on MeTV, an antenna station. Nothing gets the blood flowing like that...and she left 20 minutes in. I was not stopping to change it.I thought you were saying that you found your favorites shows, like Andy Griffith or something, all the way back to 1963 in 720.
Really need to suggest we get a Kodi box in this gym to the apartment manager. These people would think they're operating a space ship (when not) and I'd be set.

Not sure this is the right place to ask, but I will anyway. Pretty much all cordcutters and folks on their way to cord cutting have to have high speed internet, and likely their own modem and router. I do (motorola 6120 cable modem, and an asus "dark knight" router - connected wirelessly to another router in my "mancave" where some devices are, including my hd homerun). Anyway, I'm not tech minded enough to know if they are all set up properly - and I'm not really sure where to start as obviously there is a ton of info out there for this kinda stuff. VPN, QoS, wireless bands, wi-fi security, on and on. Where did you guys all start to insure it's set up the way it should be, and everything it talking to everything else as efficiently as possible?

I think the only thing that's not just plug and play, unless you're doing something exotic, is your wireless routers. For my TP link wireless router I found a full PDF guide online (I suppose all models would have this) instead of the quick guide setup that came in the box. I just logged on and went through each and every setting as explained in the guide. Even then I don't think I changed very many things from the default.
It's pretty amazing what the higher end routers can do now days. I think mine can act as an access point, supports NAS and other devices like printers. I could almost replace my server with it.

Tony, the TP-LINK Archer C7 AC1750 that you recommended to me is amazing! I forgot to thank you earlier. I have Xfinity Blast! in an apartment complex. I get download speeds, on the wi-fi on all devices, in the 170-180MPBS neighborhood on Speedtest...consistently. LAN streaming to Kodi boxes off of my iMac "HTPC" flawless as well. Just blown away, to the point where I sold the wireline adapters I had on Amazon because the wireless speeds were consistently blowing them away.
Yeah, I have gone from Linksys to Netgear to TP Link now. Granted each time I upgraded the technology had advanced so much that I can't really compare them fairly, but, the TP Link stuff is great. The wifi easily covers our 2500SF home and it's in the very back corner of the basement where the cable comes into the house. I do have a $20 TP Link Gigabit switch hardwired to my entertainment center though where the HTPC, playstation and xbox are. Not sure if I really need it or not, but, I'm just old school that way.

I went from D link to Asus and have had similar experiences - each step came with a huge advancement in technology anyway. Eventually, I'd like to have the majority of my things (specifically streamers and such) hardwired, but that will require cutting into walls and such. In the meantime, I'd just like to make the most of what I have. I know my situation is a bit weird as I have 2 wi-fi routers connected to each other wirelessly - and each has it's own specific jobs. One is directly connected to the modem, NAS, and located in the home office where my wife telecommutes. The other (two floors down and on the other side of the house) is in the mancave and connected to the HTPC, HD homerun, xbox, and PS3 (and hopefully eventually a pair of raspberry pis on two more TVs for steaming sports).
The only thing I can see, if you run into issues, is to hard wire the two routers together. I understand it's a long run and multiple levels, any time I've done that I've just ran it outside along the house and then back in. Usually you can go out an existing hole in the wall and then at most add just one more hole.

Eventually I'm likely going to do more than that - hardwire a pair of cat6 and a pair of coax cables to various locations through the house. Doing so, though, would require the ability to run cables from the closet in the basement (from which I can access points in the basement and the only places on the first floor I'd care about) to the attic (from which I can access all bedrooms and office on 2nd floor). I'm not sure, but I doubt, my builder installed a "future tube" (channel connecting the two places), so I may have to install one. I might be able to do so through the attached garage, might be a fun spring time project.
Just thinking out load if this happens:1- The tv box devices need to start integrating a co-ax input obviously for this to work. Once that happens apps should start to pop up for OTA support as well if not already integrated into the cable tv apps. My biggest pet peeve.
2- The signals from the cable company wouldn't be scrambled/encrypted anymore which will make it much easier for DVRing and pirating. It will virtually kill the on demand market unless a bunch of agreements are made between the cable companies and all the set top box companies.
3- The most interesting thing to watch if this ever happens is how the cable companies react. Do they lower their prices to stay competitive and a adapt to the chancing market possibly offering channels a la carte? Or do they stay status quo and raise their prices to try and recoup their losses? If it's the latter it may ultimately end in their demise.

I'm not sure that's true, but I'm not sure. I can "stream" any of my cable channels now on my iphone or computer. Why couldn't I do so with a roku or similar with this news?

I think they will nip this in the bud by forcing you to get a $25/month or something absurd in that ballpark "router" that will decrypt the channels going into the Fire TV, Apple TV, etc. devices on your LAN or WLAN so that they can be assured the service can't easily be stolen. People like Remy on House of Cards exist for a reason - protect the brand. Cable companies in this instance will be the brand. I see no scenario where they relinquish total control over equipment. I am rooting for it, of course, but this will be a main event battle.
