What are Kaepernick owners doing? (1 Viewer)

To rub salt in the wound, I started this scrub and my opponent of course had Vernon Davis.

I hate you Kaep. Go find your damn mighty wings already.

Traded him in a package to get Moreno and Stafford. The guy isn't doing anything until he gets Crabtree back and even then it might not be anything special.

I have started Big Ben over him twice and got it right. I'm going for third time tomorrow. If I can't swing a deal for a better QB, I will grin and bear and hope that the return of Mario and Crabtree make a major difference.

I knew I was screwed when I wound up having to settle for this guy.

I cut him, and nobody picked him up in a 10 teamer.

and only reason I had him is someone else cut him....I kept him for a couple weeks before I cut him

Krap has the talent to be a top 5 qb and will get better when his weapons are back. However SF Defense is too strong and they are a run first team so not alot of need for him to sling it 50 times, or run.. I picked up Rivers early off waivers week 1 and Foles this past week, rolling with the gunslingers.

Putting up a big stat-line on my bench today. First game this year they have really used his feet as a weapon like this.

Started Dalton instead cause he has been on a roll.

had the same situation in one league, been starting Dalton for a few weeks but couldn't pass on the matchup, glad i rolled with Kap this week.

you started dalton vs the jets over kaep vs jax? Really?

Going with the hot hand against an overrated D. Dalton has a lot of weapons and already two TDs.
Jax is scratching and clawing to be qualified as "NFL caliber." Start anyone on your roster against Jax.

That being said, if someone were gullible enough to want to take him off of your hands after this "big game," sell and never look back.

Have a bad feeling this guy will only put up solid games on your bench. You'll get burned when you start him. So frustrating.

He's a matchup play this year without Crabtree. If folks drafted him as I did--last starter--they you should have followed up with an early #2 and played them that way all season. If I'm not mistaken it was pretty much the same last year but everyone's remembering playoffs.

After Seattle week 2, he stopped running and coincidentally started appearing on the the injury report probable with a foot. Last two games, plenty of designed runs and 3 rushing TDs. The passing numbers haven't been there as they haven't needed to be. If he keeps running, he's a weekly starter. Manningham should be back next week. Not a savior, but a legit NFL WR could open things up for Boldin/Davis, enough so that Kaep could blow up again.

:goodposting:

He doesn't have to sling the rock 40 times a game to be QB1 material anyway - in most leagues, rushing yards are 2-2.5x as valuable as passing yards and rushing TD's are more valuable than passing ones. I want him to keep running, but a double-threat QB is only a double threat if you can legitimately threaten both. One more reliable guy on the outside to stretch defenses a bit might be all he needs.

I like the sounds of that--might make Boldin a viable play again as well.

I realize Carolina has an awesome D but all I can say is wow after watching that performance by Kaep. Just wow.

Maybe I'm overreacting but not only can you not start the guy any more, I'm not sure he is worth a roster spot. I'd rather have Case Keenum or Tannehill than Kaep. Hopefully I still feel this way for waivers this week.

Assuming I lose this week, his "stink bomb" performances will have cost me 2 games. I mean give me 200 yards and a TD and I win. :ptts: :violin:

This guy has proven that he is not ready to be an NFL passer and teams have caught up to his running.

I feel you. This is at least two games he's cost me. Fool me twice shame on me though. Not to be too :ptts: but I had Keenum in all week and then Cutler when he was announced to be starting but - ready for a laugh? - pulled cutler last minute to play it safe with Kap! What the #### was I thinking?!

#### this ####### ####### and #### me for being ####### stupid enough trust this ####### slapdick to score double digit points.

Honestly it might be better to cut this turd just to be not tempted to ever play him again.

I love these threads where people come in and call players names because they're not playing up to there potential in any certain year. Blame yourself and call yourself a turd for drafting them. You think they give a #### about your team? About as much as I or anyone else on this board does.

Still a turd

Why do you "love" this? You got a fetish for these kinds of threads or something? :wall:

Just move the faulk on instead of piling on here where Kaep owners commiserate .
